...the same review as the Technics SL-1200 MK5 because the only difference between the SL-1200 MK5 and SL-1210 MK5 is the colour. The SL-1200 is silver and the SL1210 is black. Not many people realise it. The amount of people I've met who say "yeah...the 1210's are better aren't they!?" and "the 1210's are more powerful". ...MK5 is the newest model.
Technics is purcased by Panasonic so this is Technics Panasonic Turntable. The technics technology remained in full, the S shaped tonearm remained also, the platters weight remained also, etc...
MK5 is improoved, like the antis skating adjustment is 6 grammes.
The pitch control fader is also better, it has no "click" at the 0 percent, so it gives you more precision while mixing around 0 %. Also the light on the pitch control ... ...reset control for really 100% precision.
I prefer this to pro DJs, also for beginners if they are not buying some cheaper Stanton or Numark, but don't prefer this for just home use for listening vinyls. This is for mixing!
One more thing is the target light. I bet everyone is bored of, when the target light dies, and you cann't replace it. At this model, the target light is supplyed with a long life LED. The motor remained almoust the same, just ...

...crystal clear as usual with Technics as long as you have a decent mixer. Use of speed control is simple and when changing theres not a big gap between the two speeds. I would recomend this turntable to anyone and I feel it is the best one out there at the moment. Once you switch it on and start mixing you wont want to turn it off. If its proffesional and crystal clear mixing your after, this is the one for you. ...
