Technika television all though not a very common or well known brand is a exptional product of very high quality. I own and am very pleased with my Technika television that we purchased from our local Tesco store.
It was easy to install with auto setu so it's basically plug it in and it's all ready to use.
The quality of picture is very good and does not have any reflections from the sun shining on it that i have found very irritating when you ... ...to fit most brackets. The Technika also has the outstanding idea of having the freeview service and dvd player built in making it very convinent and a good all in one. The remote is a good size and the buttons are easy to understand and you don't have to be really close to the television for it to work like with some remotes, it will quite easily work from the other side of the room.
The instruction manual was also easy to understand all though ...

Advantages: Great Picture and easy to use Disadvantages: Volume problems.
...one of these Tesco branded Technika LCD with Built in DVD for my young daughters bedroom, (Yes I know many say a televison shouldn't be placed in bedrooms), I found it easy to use it, as soon as you turn it on, its simply plug and play, if you have an ariel or sky just select the auto button, and by magic all the channels are put into place for you.
If you prefer you can manually place them in, I can't see the sense in this, as searching for each ... ...it for you in under a minute or two.
Fantastic and crisp clear pictures, I was somewhat surprised with the quality. There is only one issue with this television, that is the volume, once you switch the television off at the socket and turn back on again, the volume frightens the hell out of you, you need to quickly turn the volume down by the remote.
I do not know if this is a genuine fault on these televions or its simply just a one off isolated ...

I have bought this TV for my caravan to save on wires everywhere. I am very impressed with the ease of set up. We had it plugged in and set up within about 30 minutes, and that includes the time it takes to adjust the caravan aerial.
The only problem I have with it is the TV guide. When you enter the EPG, it shows what is on your current channel for the rest of that day. To see the other channles, you have to change through them on the EPG screen one by one. There is no 'now and next' listing.
It is a fantastic looking TV which offers everything in one machine, which is a blessing to me at least. ...
