I bought this to cook chips but it takes to long 35-40 mins but they are not worth the wait to dried up . It does chicken wings great in 30 mins it also does have a recipe book some of them work others do not. The let downs of the fryer are the plastic clear lid the clips that keep lid closed are made of the same thin polycarbonate and after a little time the become brittle and break off so you can not keep the lid down. ...about buying one of the Tefal Actifrys for sometime about 1 year to be exact. I was not disappointed at all and it is fantastic. You must ensure though that you really rinse the potatoes well to get rid of the starch and not only that dry the potatoes before you add them to the actifry. You only need 1 tablespoon of oil, any oil will do but I prefer a good quality olive oil, the chips turned out perfect, I didn't need to do them for the full 35-40 ...

Bought one of these 2 days ago From COSTCO and the chips taste great .. I think it will take a bit of getting used to ..as will the amount of potatoes needed they seem to shrink alot more than when fryed ?? VERY easy to use just take about 40mins to cook very easy to clean and dishwasher safe , chips ARE easy to take out you just lift the base out ( it is just like a deep frying pan ) then you can tip them on to the plate / bowl etc. a big plus ...
...normal fryer makes it which was what we hated most, I tried to cook some scampi but it just mushed that up so don't recomend trying that will be trying out some of the recipes now and can't wait Good bits.. Hardly any smell healthy chips bad bits ... they take about 40mins to cook , potatoes seem to shrink alot more than when fryed, It is quite big ...

I purchased Actifry from Lakeland and could'nt wait to try it out. The chips came out ok but I found them a bit dry.Cooking time is about 40 min. I also tried the recipe for chilli con carne but got terribly disappointed. The meat turned chewy and hard ,vegetables tasted undone and kidney beans turned very dry.Overall was'nt great. In addition to that the machine gets very hot dispite the fact that the packaging says cool to touch. If you are prepared to spend £150 to enjoy healthy chips then go for it. Otherwise if you expect more than that I think you will be disappointed. ...

Yes, it takes forty minutes to cook a kilo of chips but they are delicious and very healthy. You don't have to feel guilty about eating chips, and they are certainly much better for you than chip shop, frozen or oven chips - and much crisper in my experience. I "forgot" to dry my chips before I cooked them - well, I didn't fully read the instructions! They were still crispy outside and fluffy inside. I wasn't too keen on the sweet and sour pork fillet ...

I'm writing this review for my Dad, who has (had) an actifry and is not online. On the second use theirs more or less blew up, rendering it unusable. They approached Tefal, who referred him back to the vendors (a television shopping channel). Although I can understand this in terms of securing a refund, etc., Tefal did not seem to be at all interested in a return of the actifry in order to ascertain the exact problem it suffered from. As the item itself was completely unreliable, and as Tefal have not shown any interest in the fault, I am giving this product a low mark. ...

...It does everything that tefal claims and more besides. The unit is deattachable for easy cleaning for washing up and in the dish washer. but using the dish washer is really not worth it. I give this equipment a 5 out of 5 stars and is well worth every penny spent on it. ...

A wonderful soundtrack from the wonderful movie, 'Meet Joe Black' As we know, soundtrack is the heart of any movie. A big budget movie with good storyline,gorgeous stars,well written script but with poor soundtrack fails to invoke the impact on audiences,but an average budget time-pass movie but with some good soundtracks, the movie can actually generate an extreme emotion and connection with the movie in an audiences. Meet Joe Black's soundtracks perfectly match with the movie and are also of great fun to listen individually behind even without cinematic environment. My Tefal ActiFry arrived today and I couldn't wait to try it out. I followed the instructions and made some chips. They were delicious and nice and crispy and my husband asbolutely loved them. I love the chips and wedges (that I made with fresh organic potatoes), and so do the family. It is much cheaper to make your own, once you have bought the product, but takes a longish time to cook - up to 45 mins depending on how much you cook. One kilo of wedges take 45 minutes. Less takes a little less time. The instructions are easy to follow from the recipe book, I haven't tried any of the interesting recipes in there. I can't use wheat flour ...
