The Tefal Classic toaster provides for 2 slices of standard size bread. It has a facility to adjust the height of the 'pop-up' when the toasting is done. So, if crumpets or smaller slices are put in, the adjustment allows them to be popped up to the height of the top, and not be left within the toaster (so saving burnt fingers trying to retrieve them!) This toaster is the best toaster I have ever used (admitedly I have not used many toasters but hey). It's white modern rounded look fits into any kitchens old and new and has a variety of functions including auto defrost and a dial for the type of bread (aren't modern toasters brilliant) you are burning.....
