The customer, not funding any national advertising campaigns, gets all these services on one convenient monthly bill." The Utility Warehouse has to be one of the Uk's best kept secrets! I found out about them from my brother and, after swapping to the Broadcall package, I reduced my broadband bill significantly as the package offers a 8Mb/s connection for less than my old provider but also includes line rental AND free weekend phone calls! The service is excellent and was very quick and easy to set up.

I have been with the Telecom Plus Utility Warehouse package for 9 months now and I have been thoroughly satisfied with the service. The free modem plugs into your usb socket and the CD installation disk is fully automated and you'll be up and running in no time. I use the 1MB bandwidth unlimited package costing £19.95 per month, although the other options including free phone calls were very tempting as well. You can have an unlimited download package which differs slightly in price according to bandwidth; 512k is £17.95, 1MB is £19.95 and 2MB is £22.95. If you are happy with a 2GB monthly ... more

Advantages Advantages Salesman seemed to know and understand my needs

Disadvantages Disadvantages Utility warehouse couldn't back them up. NOTHING WORKED!!

I had 2 BT phone lines, one for phone and one for broadband, in my house which was a legacy from the former resident. It was costing a fortune and I decided I was time I had one phone line with broadband and telephone, all done with a miniumum of fuss. Having my own business, i collected a few quotes and finally plumbed to have the Utility Warehouse BroadCall service, along with many other services (for the business AND my house), and to purchase it through my business to keep things simple.I got promised the earth by the Utility Warehouse salesperson, saying that I could have that setup with ... more

    Advantages Advantages One bill

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Shoddy customer service

I was with Utility Warehouse for a total of two years (phone, mobile (SIM only) and broadband services) until I bought an Apple Imac. Try as I might, I couldn't get UW's broadband service to work with the Apple. After several phone calls to their tech support at 75p a minute, where I received rather unhelpful service and no sign of the promised return support calls, I decided to change suppliers in September 2007. Having had the broadband service with UW for well over a year, I am extremely annoyed that they are trying to charge me an 'early cancellation' fee of £50, plus they're still ... more

Joining Utility Warehouse is the best thing I could have done to my utility services. They provide fantastic value for money with a personal service to boot. This starts with your own personal distributor who sorts out the forms for you. There is a UK based call centre who are friendly and incredibly helpful. All the utilities you take come through on one easy to understand bill. This saves paperwork and only one Direct debit to worry about. No annoying bundles or hidden costs making it impossible to compare. Join today you won't regret it!

Joined Utility Warehouse as theyseemed very cheap...oh I couldn't have made a worse decision for my internet provider. The ADSL line they provide is very unreliable, problems almost every week...to sort it out you have to ring them at 75p a minute and they take their time to sort it out! No apologies, no ringbacks, no acceptance of any faults, and their smpt server will not work outside your home line! When you try to leave them, they refuse to supply a migration code and charge £50 for the privalige. I can't speak for their other services but wouldn't recommend their ... more

i switched all of my utilities to UW Club (Broadband, gas, electric, mobile etc.) and am well pleased with the services received. I like the monthly billing, it is much easier to understand and easier to control your finances. We had a spot of bother during the heavy rain whereby our exchange box was flooded. UW Club advisors were excellent in sorting this out for us and kept us up to date several times a day to report back work undertaken by the engineers. I'm glad that we switched and have since even become a distributor for the UW Club A ... more

Tech guys are great. Customer service are the worst I have ever encountered in my life. Nasty dishonest and useless. DON'T do this to yourself, use someone else - anyone. Bills were wrong, their own staff admitted it; refused to explain, sort etc, and then surcharged and took unauthorised payments on top, having said they would not. Horrible horrible company to be avoided at all costs. In no way worth the strain of dealing with these awful, awful people.

Hi there, I became a customer of Utility Warehouse through having a card given to me. I checked the website out, www.lowerprice4U.com and found by a comparison I could save around £280 on my bills. I had a home call from a lady who fully explained everything to me. I've not only saved on my bills for gas and electricity but I'm receiving all my calls free just for being a good customer! I'm very satisfied with this company. - ooh and I've been having all my bills together on one bill, which is tremendous I only have to check my ... more
