    Advantages Advantages It can only be a matter of time before Ofcom acts to bring this company into line.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Rude and unscrupulous staff. Uncommunicative. Aggressive bullying attitude to customers.

    In my opinion This company has a maverick attitude to all accepted business practices. It never takes responsibility for its own shortcomings and if you try to move to another supplier it will slam your phone lines which I understand is against the law and try to make it impossible for you to switch. It will also probably charge you in excess of £3000 to terminate the contract if the MD feels that he has a tiny chance of getting away with it.     Beware of being billed twice for the same call, being charged for freephone numbers and a billing dept that is staffed by morons, I have had problems since Jan 2008 and its always blamed on their new system, emails go unanswered and complaints fall on deaf ears. This is a totally amateur operation with non existent customer service, call charges are cheap (when correct) but I wish I'd never had any dealings with them, I for one will be changing provider as soon as my contract expires, beware of the £2,500 "admin charge" if you want to end your contract early, ... more

    We joined Telephonics in 2002 because they offerred big discounts on call charges. Initially their service was good, calls charges were very cheap, billing was prompt and apparently accurate. The service deteriorated over the years however, with charges increasing substantially without prior notification, intermittent, and inaccurate billing etc. In early 2008 they slammed some of our lines, without warning and without our permission, and refused to let BT take them back even though we wanted them to. As a result we cancelled our contract with them when renewal was due. They are now taking us to court for breach of contract. ... more

    the worst telephone service provider ever used. they will cut you off bill you for things that you havent had, and take you to court for breach of contract when you havent breached it. They will forge documents and slam you from other providers, be aware that recently trading standards tried to find them working from any of their registered locations, and were unsuccessful. They have an accountant and letterbox addresses, so when things go wrong and you want to see them you cant. They use an online solicitor who will write and lodge an online CCJ against you.     I would deffinately recommend this company to anyone. The prices are very competitive and have saved me lots of money. I have only had to contact them once with a minor enquiry and the staff were very proffesional and extremely helpful. I trust this company and don't feel any need to look elsewhere because with Telephonics I know exactly where I stand. I noticed no loss in line quaIity compared to BT. I can't think of anything else to say about this company other than if you want to save money and realise the value of first class customer service then give Telephonics a go.     Having done quite a bit of work for Telephonics (I'm not on the staff I hasten to add!) I don't understand where all the vitriol is coming from?!! I must have overheard hundreds of calls while in their office - ranging from telesales to customer faults and billing issues (usually late payers). It's a busy place. I have to say that all the staff treat the customers with respect, always give an honest answer (as far as my limited knowledge of telecoms goes!) and bend over backwards to accomodate late payers (its worrying how many there are in this recession).     Disadvantages Disadvantages Once your with them, you cant switch to anyone else without the threat of court

    Carlsberg dont do phone companys and if they did, they certainly wouldnt be telephonics. We signed with them over the phone last year and they took our line rental over without our permission. When we tried to get it back with BT telephonics sent us a solicitors letter threatening to sue us for £3500. We are a small family run company and have never been in debt since we started in 1985. In my opinion, they are just bullys which is why I cant wait to leave them and get back with BT.     Check this out - be very aware. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/bulletins/compbu​llindex/compbullcompcases/ cw998/ I have NEVER come accross such a DREADFUL company in many, many years of business. From my personal experience the , so called, TIT customer services department seem to delight in mind games, misinformation and deception. Of course, TIT may change in view of the Ofcom fine etc, and for the sake of their existing customers, I hope they do. However, look around for a better deal.     A word of warning to ANYONE, business or likewise who is thinking of switching thier calls or lines to Telephonics Integrated Telephony Ltd. This Company has been investigated by OFCOM and found to be in breach of thier operating guidelines. When you start dealing with this company, you will benefit from cheaper calls initially, you will be unable to change provider without your lines being slammed - you will not have a contract with them and they will try to take you to court for breach of a non existant contract.
