I would certainly recommend these to anyone who has a problem with bleeding gums, and believe me, it is a lot less hassle and time consuming than using dental floss. ...answer was no. Unlike others TePe neither leaves bits of the brush between teeth (and that HURTS!) nor refuses to go between teeth. Others preferred to bend back as if in fear. TePe also stays on the holder provided. With another, I had been left with a brush between my teeth and a holder in my hand.
