Time to celebrate at a slice of the price.

Advantages: Ready to use, Ready to decorate
Disadvantages: No good to people with allergies.

...most of my shopping in Tesco this is where I headed to find my cake. Also I had bought this cake before so knew that is was of good quality. Tesco have a choice of 'occasion cakes', from Thomas the tank Engine to Busty boobs, but I decided to go for the more traditional style of a plain iced cake. The icing on the cake, for my Wedding Day

Advantages: multiple usages
Disadvantages: fattening

...fruit filled traditional style from Tesco and thought the change to this Madeira cake, would make a nicer option for the younger ones. tesco iced madeira cake. moist and yummy.

Advantages: moist.
Disadvantages: would prefer to make my own.

i have been looking for ages for a madeira cake that is moist. having tried several recipes myself and each one turning out a bit dry and crumbly, i decided to have a look in tescos, whilst doing a quick shop. this cake is lovely and moist with a really tasty icing on the top, which is a bonus. i only wish i could make one like this. there is a list of ingredients on the back, but nothing out of the ordinary.
