Not just for babies

AdvantagesSoft, strong, easy to use.

Disadvantagesnone.

"...few years back, I discovered Tesco wipes, finding these was a great help, the flip-top lid keeps them moist and delivers one wipe, nothing like the reams of wipes by other brands. My mother came to live with me in 2002; she was eighty and had multiple health problems; Advanced Parkinson’s disease, heart problems, arthritis and kidney disease. She had a kidney removed in 1974 and suffered badly with cystitis and kidney infections. This was a real ..." Read review

Wipe Away those Baby Poohs

Advantagessoft, strong, cheap

Disadvantagesthe smell.

"...the rather pretty pack of Tesco Scented Ultra Soft Cloth Wipes (not the catchiest of names, I'm sure you'll agree). They were a very reasonable £1.79 for 80. Please note, I am from the Highlands of Scotland, further north than Inverness, where a pack of Huggies is £3.65. I know they are cheaper in other places, but its just to show a price comparison. Anyway, in the trolley they went and i toddled off quite happy that I had made a good saving. ..." Read review

Talking DIRTY

AdvantagesPrice

DisadvantagesToo wet, hardly fragrance free

"...so does the quality. Tesco Fragrance free thick wipes do come up as one of the cheapest though, even without an offer on. • • • Tesco THICK wipes • • • The wipes claim to be thick, and compared to some they are, but don’t expect anything near as thick as say the Huggies Cotton Touch wipes. Tesco wipes are thick enough not to put your finger through whilst cleaning a bum (phew!) but I have torn quite ..." Read review

WIPED INTO A FRENZY

AdvantagesCHEAPER THAN LEADING BRANDS, BUT JUST AS GOOD

DisadvantagesNONE

"Tesco Baby Wipes When it comes to choosing baby products I always buy the brands that I know and trust. For baby wipes I usually buy either Pampers or Johnson's, but a few months ago this all changed when I was at Tesco doing my normal grocery shopping. I was running low of wipes so I went over to the baby department and headed to where my usual packets were. I saw a big sign saying Buy One Get One Free on the shelf, but all the packets wre ..." Tesco Baby Wipes

AdvantagesHandy Dispensing Pack, Value for Money

DisadvantagesInferior Quality to my Favourite Brand

"I started using Tesco My Baby's Ultra Soft Wipes when my son was first born back in 2005. At the time they were sold in triple packs for £2.99 each though now they're sold individually for £1.09 each and regularly put on offer at 3 for £3. Each pack contains 80 wipes which is a couple of wipes more than standard premium brand packs usually hold. I noticed that my baby often had a slightly pink tinge to his bottom when I used these however I didn't ..." Read review

Finally I found good baby wipes Review with images

Advantagesarge, fragrance free, thick, lasts long

Disadvantagesnone

"...wipes are available only in Tesco for 98 pence a pack. Now you can buy 3 of them for 2.5 pounds. I think this is good value for them as they can be used also for cleaning you baby's mouth and face after meals and your baby's hands. The ingredients are not listed on the pack. The wipes are not anti bacterial so it won't kill germs on your baby's hand just clean the dirt. To sum up I prefer this brand to other ones. I tried almost all the wipes available ..." Read review

Pocket Friendly wipes

AdvantagesGreat Value, Good Performance

DisadvantagesNot as wet as I would like personally

"...redness or reaction to the Tesco wipes. The main ingredient in the wipes is water and there is nothing that immediately stands out to me as being particularly worrying. However I'm not really well up with chemical names. For us, the proof was in the testing. And with her not having a reaction I would be happy to buy these wipes and use them again. They are alcohol free, but recently I've found that most baby wipes appear to be free from alcohol anyway. ..." Read review

what do you smell like

Advantagesclean up messes, packaging

Disadvantagessmell

"I didn't buy these, Granny did. She was so excited that she had brought something for her little grandson and at the fact she was saving us some money. She brought them as they were buy one get one free( I think my living with her has rubbed off!). I think they are about £2.00 a pack. The best thing about these wipes is the packaging. They come in a purple packet with light purple areas for the writing. They also have that great pop up opening ..." Read review

Wipe away your troubles

AdvantagesCheap, good quality, nice smell

DisadvantagesWipes can get soggier towards the end, not easy to pull out one handed.

"...others weren't but despite this Tesco have come up trumps time after time. Tesco state that their wipes are fragrance free ultra soft cloth wipes that have been formulated to gently cleanse and moisturise baby's delicate skin during nappy changing. They also advise that they are also ideal for use at feeding and play times and that each wipe pops up from the pack so that it can be removed with just one hand, one wipe at a time, leaving your other ..." Tesco Baby Wipes

AdvantagesExcellent value for money

DisadvantagesAs with all wipes, you want one out and you get the whole packet!

"...last week I saw the Tesco wipes on offer for 2 for £2 (or £1.88 each). That is really cheap compared to the Pampers or Johnsons wipes that are £2.49 per packet and every penny counts when you have a baby. ****What do you get**** You can have either scented or unscented and the wipes come in a pack of 80 that has a flip top closable lid rather than the usual sticky re-sealable type. I thought I would give the scented a go as my son seems okay ..." Read review

Sensitive on your babie skin

Advantagessensitive on your babies skin

Disadvantageslittle bit to much moisture in them

"I buy alot of Tesco own products and this is one of the ones i use on a regular basis. I have two young children, my youngest still being in nappies. Nappie wipes are great to have in every room, they have so many different uses. They are great for changing your babies nappie, cleaning faces and hands and even tables. I like to keep a big stock of them as they are so handy. I first tried Tesco own nappies over a year ago when i was a little bit ..." Read review

The best wipes ive used (Tesco My Baby's Ultra Soft Wipes)

AdvantagesExcellent value for money. Great snap shut lid to prevent them drying out

DisadvantagesSometimes the top wipes can be very dry

"...I went for were the Tesco My Baby Ultra Soft Wipes. There are two choices of wipe in this range, one is a green packet which is the scented wipes and the other is a blue packet which is the non scented wipes. I opted for the none scented (no particular reason for this they just happened to be above the scented ones). They come in a plastic packet with a hard plastic flip lid on the top (this clips shut to prevent the wipes from drying out), this ..." Read review

really good wipes

AdvantagesSoft, added baby lotion, cheaper than well known brands

DisadvantagesToo wet at bottom of packet

"...of baby wipes and found Tesco to be the best.I buy the fragrance free ones with baby lotion, but they also come in fragranced. I havn't tried these as I think fragrance free ones are kinder to skin. They are really soft and gentle and I use them on hands, faces and to change nappies. They don't tear and come in resealable packets. The only downfall they have are, as you get further down the packet they become too wet so I just squeeze them out before I ..." Tesco Value Baby Wipes

AdvantagesCheap

DisadvantagesToo thin for no 2's!

"...range in Tesco, I noticed Tesco do their own baby value wipes for 44p! A 100 wipes for that low price I thought I would give them a go! 44p compared to £1.74 for my usual Johnsons brand, I can't believe how much money I could save if these were any good. Heres what Tesco say -------------------- value wipes are ideal for baby and all the family. They contain mild cleansing agents and are ideal for use in the home or when travelling. In my ..."
