Advantages: Reasonably priced clothes, well made and wash well Disadvantages: Delivery charge and it's not buy now, pay later
...sometimes buy children's clothing from Tesco and their catalogue for my son as the clothes are reasonably priced and there are some nice things to choose from.I was quite surprised how good they were, they are well made, they wash and iron well, and they have lasted quite a while.
You can order from the catalogue over the phone and have to pay straight away with visa etc.and they are delivered within 3-4 of days if they are in stock.Delivery is £2.95 ...

Advantages: value for money, socks that stay on baby's feet Disadvantages: none
When I made a list of clothes to buy for our newborn baby I included socks out of convention rather than in any hope that they would be useful. My previous experience of all footware for babies was that they were over-expensive and ill-fitting and spent more time on the pavement or hiding down the back of the sofa than keeping feet warm.
The 24 hour Tescos nearby had just opened up a new section devoted to clothing so I thought I would check them ... ...was excellent. I was very impressed by the cheap mulit-packs of basics and equally important for keeping the peace the older children were impressed with the style and coolness-quotient of many of the clothes. Many of the trouser, jackets and tops are like miniversions of clothes they would chose for themselves. The cherokee range of socks met both their and my criteria. The baby socks are available in packs of two pairs for £2.50. They have sizes ...

...I have also
used the Tesco catalogue to buy a high chair - the speed of delivery
was amazing; I think it was within 2 or 3 days. If you buy from the
catalogue, Tesco will send you their sale leaflets and these of course offer even better value. They also have reduced items in store
at various times. Anyone who wants good quality at good prices ought
to try Tesco. ...

Advantages: Not such good value! Disadvantages: No inconvenience refund!
...a `buffet`.
Off to Tesco I go, normally, their `value` products I have found to be well `value`. So I commenced my shopping, a packet of value frozen sausage rolls, `approx., 50` or 750 g was advertised on the packaging. Bargain, I thought. But beware!! I arrived home, put the shopping away and headed for the baking tray to cook my frozen sausage rolls. Normally, when I have cooked them in the past, they tend to spread better on two trays. I filled ... ...off I go back to Tesco for a well deserved moan!
What a waste of time, after queueing for half an hour at customer services, and weighing out 3 or 4 more packets of sausage rolls, I was advised (sypathetically) that I could have a packet free of charge for my troubles!!!!!!!
By now I was really annoyed, too annoyed to argue! So I came away with a packet of value sausage rolls, in place of my previous HALF packet of sausage rolls which had ended ...

I bought a pack seven vests for my newborn there for only £10, and it may be the best value for money I have bought for him!!
Most of his clothes are from Next and Gap, but I thought I'd 'cheat' and but him his underthings from tesco...
I really like the vests, as they are very soft for his sensitive skin and they have no neck labels to irritate his neck....
They also have a cute motif on each vest of animals, and really look good if you co-ordinate ... ...he is now 4 weeks and they are newborn size and they still fit very well even though he is now 10lbs....
I did buy some socks there too, but was not impressed as they keep falling off, and stretched after one use.....
I suppose they will fit when he gets older, but it would have been nice to be able to use them now!! ...

Advantages: Great value, hard-wearing clothes. Disadvantages: Not the high street name brands that many people aspire to.
I have always found Tesco's children's clothes to be great value for money. Not only are they very reasonably priced when they are first bought, they wash extremely well and last. I am currently dressing my 2 year old daughter in clothes originally bought 3 years ago for my eldest daughter and the clothes still look great.
Their special value packs are particularly useful - 2 pairs of leggings, a t-shirt and a long sleeved top for £6.50! (admittedly ... ...been a great buy at double the price). That is one of the other helpful things about Tesco's - they have very worthwhile offers. Lot's of clothes on buy one get one free and their sales are a real bargain - proper reduction on normal items, not clothes brought in just for the sale.
I know some people don't like clothes shopping on supermarkets, but in my opinion the quality is just as good as youwould getin the high street at a fraction of the cost. ...

...to "themadcabi" for the advice.
Tesco stores are well laid out and easy to get around unlike Sainsburys. We have two Tesco and one Sainsbury in Macclesfield and although the Sainsbury store is only one hundred yards away from the house I find the Tesco a much easeir and more plessant experience. The staff are more curtius and helpfull and my fellow shopers apear to be more polite. I think this is because the isles are wider at Tescos than the local ... ...any differences like this? Tesco have a bonus point card sceam that really do put money back in your pocket unlike Sainsburys version which costs you more because a lot of the offeres giving higher points actually cost you more than the average price of the same product bought elswhere. Tesco also have a home shoping service that only costs £5 per delivery so if you live in the sticks or unable to shop in person it could prove costafective and convinient. ...

Advantages: clear catalogue, good choice, well priced Disadvantages: cannot see before you buy
I have found the new Tesco Baby and Toddler catalogue a real godsend. Unfortunately, they do not deliver food to my postcode area so I have to go into store to collect my groceries, but it’s a great way to shop for things for little people.
It covers everything from maternity wear, maternity personal items, nappies, newborn items, nursery equipment, prams and the like right through to clothes for older children.
Whilst you do have to pay ... ...bit), when you join the Tesco Mother and Baby club, you get a voucher in your first pack for 10% off your first purchase from the catalogue. Whilst this reads like it is on one item, you actually get 10% off your first ORDER, so if you need to get lots of things for a new nursery and baby, this can add up to quite a large saving.
I would recommend the catalogue to all. Stress free shopping at a discount!!!! ...

Advantages: LOVELY LOOKING, PERFECT FITTING AND CHEAP! Disadvantages: NOTHING AT ALL!
Well what can i say apart from Tesco's clothes are brilliant! I buy lot's of my daughter's clothes from here and i haven't had any problems at all! There prices are amazing!
There quality is amazing!
For example 2 weeks ago i went down to my local store and once again i found my self at the baby clothes but they had a sale on and instead of an outfit of 1 pair of jeans, 1 long sleeved top and 1 cardigan being £10 it was reduced down to £2! I know ... ...but there isn't any need once you have seen this wonderful selection!
Tesco's clothes don't just look lovely, they fit perfectly and they don't fall apart on the first wash!
If you don't believe me then go and look for your self!
Trust me you won't be disappointed! Thanks For Reading And I Hope That This Has Been Helpful!

...Tesco's. I really do rate Tesco for childrens clothes, they are bright and cheerful and really reasonably priced but the best thing is they wash really well and my daughter gets lots of wear out of them. The other day I bought a lovely denim pinafore with yellow and blue flowers embroidered on it for £9.00 and two tops for £5 each and they really are lovely and at this price much bettr value than Mothercare and Adams whose clothes in my opinion are ... ...found in the Tesco Baby Direct catalogue.
