What is Tesco's Clubcard?

It is a free loyalty scheme operated by Tesco’s and it was the first one of its kind to be set up with a lot of other supermarkets and shops following suit when they realised how successful it was.
You get 1p back (in the form of vouchers) for every full pound you spend in store, petrol station, on line or by shopping with any of their partner ... ...and send it Freepost to Tesco or put it into the box provided in the larger stores. The application for will have a Clubcard attached so you are up and running straight away.
Another way to register is to log onto the Tesco website www.tesco.com. Pick up an application form with the Clubcard and then just log on and fill in your details – name, address etc. This literally takes a couple of minutes so easy peasy!

...now I must join the Tesco clubcard anonymous club. Here is why I support the Tesco clubcard.
EASY TO SIGN UP
Once a store opens up you will see millions of leaflets with clubcards stuck in them with a registration form. You can then start using your card straight away whilst registering afterwards which is good so you never miss out on the points and for some reason if you didn't use your clubcard if you keep your receipt you can go back to customer ... ...which to spend your money. Tesco don't do this they send you your quarterly statement but if you want bumph through your door you can sign up to any of their exclusive member clubs which are not as bad as I am making out. They are quite useful especially the baby and toddler group which my sister has joined because you get newsletters, magazines, product ideas, money off vouchers etc. The different clubs you can subscribe to are *Wine club

...at all compare to the Tesco Value range in price or quality. This is the main reason that once a week or so I go travel to the nearby towns of Montrose, Forfar or Dundee with my mum and what we save combined more than makes up for the petrol.
The other reason that I have stayed loyal to Tesco's is simply the Clubcard - the loyalty card that gives you more than any other loyalty card I have come across. Each point is the equivelent of 1p but this ... ...on petrol purchased at the Tesco petrol pumps so you can easily mount up the points with prices the way they are. Of course you tend to save at the petrol pump anyway as I find Tesco's to be one of the cheapest along with Asda for petrol.
The second way you can earn is by purchasing products at various other stores. MFI has only been part of this scheme for a short time but you can get 1 point per pound spent here. Great idea if you are replacing ...

I am not a big fan of loyalty schemes, often they appear to be too good to be true, or you reap little reward for spending a lot of money. I have found that Tesco’s clubcard is different however. I first got my clubcard around 6 years ago and I reckon I have got back at least £200 in rewards since then. Not a lot for 6 years work, but in essence the vouchers always arrive at the right time ... ...standard credit card sized clubcard, Tesco also give you a couple of handy little key fobs which you can attach to your keyring so you need never be without it. The advantage of them giving you more than one is that you can share them with your family whilst still collecting clubcard points on only one account. The clubcard is easily recognisable by its blue and red Tesco design with the word CLUBCARD, and Tesco’s motto, Every Little Helps written ...

Tesco have a loyalty card known as the Clubcard. It is a little blue card that you use to get points, which are then converted to Vouchers for various things. Most people will have either seen one or at least heard of them.
Well, I have a little green card, called a Clubcard Plus. It functions slightly different to the blue one, but the points are converted the same way. But read on to see the differences.

...the benefit's of owning a Tesco Clubcard especially now that Tesco are taking of the retail world in nearly every department you can think of. Please bear in mind when rating this review that is is purely a review about Clubcard and not Tesco as a store or company. For those that are unfamiliar with Tesco's reward card this may be a real eye opener and for those who already use it on a regular basis you may find some information that is very useful ... ...you can identify yourself to Tesco should you have any queries and supposedly to avoid any possible fraud but I must say it's hard to steal someone's card and use it as the address is registered and all rewards go to your home address. Should you forget your clubcard for any reason keep your reciept as you can claim the points at a later stage up to two weeks later from the bar code on the bottom of your reciept.

I have been a Tesco Clubcard member now for quite some time and fine it to be one of the most rewarding points cards around. To sign up to Tesco clubcard is very easy - all you have to do is pick up a leaflet in store which already has a card attached and then just complete the form and post it in the free post envelope they provide with it. Within days they normally send an acknowledgement of you signing up and you can even register to get clubcard ... ...good thing that make the Tesco clubcard stand out from the rest is that of course you can use your vouchers at face value against your shopping but you can also use them to treat yourself to clubcard deals. These are very, very, worthwhile doing as if you use them for deals they are worth 4 times the amount.
For example I had £28 in vouchers and because I used them towards my theme park tickets to Alton towers I didn't pay to get my tickets at all ...

...been a member of the Tesco Clubcard scheme for around 18 months now. It’s the only card-based retail loyalty scheme that I partake in, mainly because I’ve found one that I genuinely get something back for using, and also that my wallet couldn’t carry any more cards! In that I mean there's not much space for cards, and not that I'm a credit fiend!!
The scheme is simple in its structure. You take a card from the store, fill in the ... ...making purchases from the many Tesco Petrol Stations, and at the time of typing they are giving double points, so that’s, yes you’ve guessed it 2 points per £1 spent. This offer will only run for a limited time (say 1 month) but it is an offer I’ve seen in the past and no doubt will come around again.

...other little beauty is my Tesco Clubcard. I'll call her "Tess". She's lovely.
Tess is a great companion. She goes everywhere with me. She sometimes gets swept (or swiped) off her feet by checkout girls at my local Tesco supermarket, but she always comes running straight back. She gives me superb gifts. She's pretty flexible. All in all, Tess is a rewarding companion. She loves giving me points - and points inevitably make prizes.

WHAT IS A TESCO CLUB CARD?
Well Tesco club card is a card for the valued shoppers of the big brand Tesco and each time you shop you can pick up a point for every pound that you spend, each point is worth 1p which I think is a bit tight as places like Boots give you up to 4 points for every pound that you spend, but ... ...can also get points with:- Tesco petrol, Tesco direct .com, Tesco home phone, Tesco mobile, Tesco internet, avis, e-on energy suppliers, Marriott hotels, national tires and auto care, nationwide auto care & the nutri centre @ Tesco, when you spend money with these places you also get 1 point for every pound that you spend.
