Free groceries, days out, magazines and more!

AdvantagesEasy to accumulate points and good variety of exchange

DisadvantagesCan't think of any!

"...opinion is about the standard Tesco Clubcard. What is Tesco's Clubcard? ****************************** It is a free loyalty scheme operated by Tesco’s and it was the first one of its kind to be set up with a lot of other supermarkets and shops following suit when they realised how successful it was. You get 1p back (in the form of vouchers) for every full pound you spend in store, petrol station, on line or by shopping with any of their ..." Read review

They may gather data to analyse buying activity but this is purely for their own records to improve customer service. ***************************************** Carrying For Convenience Card: The Tesco's Clubcard itself is blue in colour and is the size, shape and design of a credit card. 4 ways is better than no ways

AdvantagesMoney for money you are going to spend anyway, great offers & more free money!

Disadvantagesyou dont get enough points for recycling & you get addicted to shopping

"...now I must join the Tesco clubcard anonymous club. Here is why I support the Tesco clubcard. EASY TO SIGN UP Once a store opens up you will see millions of leaflets with clubcards stuck in them with a registration form. You can then start using your card straight away whilst registering afterwards which is good so you never miss out on the points and for some reason if you didn't use your clubcard if you keep your receipt you can go back to customer ..." They're the best.

Advantagesgreat selection of deals, plenty of ways to earn them

Disadvantagesnone

"...at all compare to the Tesco Value range in price or quality. This is the main reason that once a week or so I go travel to the nearby towns of Montrose, Forfar or Dundee with my mum and what we save combined more than makes up for the petrol. The other reason that I have stayed loyal to Tesco's is simply the Clubcard - the loyalty card that gives you more than any other loyalty card I have come across. Each point is the equivelent of 1p but this ..." Read review

Hold my plums while I inspect these melons Diamond review

AdvantagesExceptionally generous Clubcard Deals on leisure and travel

DisadvantagesThey're spying on us

"...this review good because apparently Tesco have a special power over Ciao that results in certain negative reviews about them being deleted. Well, would you believe it’s been nearly ten years since Tesco launched the little blue card that we all seem to love or hate? Since then we’ve seen Tesco’s unstoppable growth into every corner of our lives. The company now accounts for a staggering 28 percent of the British grocery market, with its nearest ..." Read review

Did Tesco really contribute towards my holiday

AdvantagesSo many things to spend your clubcard points on

Disadvantagesnone

"...and it wasn't until the Tesco Delivery driver asked about my holiday and was telling me that he had change his mind about using his Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for his holiday that it reminded me that I had wanted to put my point of view about the Clubcard vouchers across. So here goes. '''Applying for a Club card''' The Tesco Clubcard is a loyalty scheme offered by Tesco. You can pick up the card (looks like a standard plastic Credit/Debit ..." Read review

Every Little Helps with Tesco's Clubcard

AdvantagesEasy and fast to accumulate points and money off!!!

DisadvantagesThe way you spend points should be revised maybe so that you can get "change"!

"Tesco Clubcard About Clubcard was launched in 1995 and since then has just got more and more popular dragging customers into Tesco’s shops around the country. Resulting in Tesco becoming one of the most popular Supermarkets in Britain. If you don’t have a Tesco’s Clubcard the way it works very simply is that as you spend in Tesco (whether it be on food, petrol, insurance), you earn points on your Clubcard, every £1 = 1point, ever 100 points ..." What do Points make? Clubcard Vouchers, of course!

AdvantagesLots of reward options; it's really something for nothing

DisadvantagesThe consumer has no control over when they get rewarded

"Tesco Clubcard has become something of a phenomenon in Britain. Without a doubt, it has helped the company in its quest to become the UK's number one grocer and maintain that position. Background ~~~~~~~~~ Tesco Clubcard was first launched back in 1995. At this time, loyalty cards were still being trialled in the UK and many were not as successful as retailers hoped they would be. For example, Safeway's ABC card and Asda's 'Clubcard' both failed ..." Read review

What do points make?

AdvantagesNo brainer for me, something for nothing, loads of rewards to choose from

DisadvantagesAbsolutely nothing

"I cannot rave enough about Tesco Clubcard points. I have been a loyal Tesco customer now for about 10 years and have enjoyed holidays abroad, weekends in top class hotels in the UK, tickets for days out, restaurant vouchers, ferry tickets, jewellery vouchers and spectacles - ALL COMPLETELY FREE!!! When I tell my friends this they don't always believe me and say it can't be that good, but I tell them that it simply is. There are only the two of ..." Read review

Every Little Helps

AdvantagesPoints build up quickly, vouchers can be exchanged for 4 times the amount

DisadvantagesNone

"I have had a Tesco club card for many years now and I have to say it is the best loyalty card around. I never really used it much and only got a few pounds back every few months, however since moving into my own home the points have soon mounted up. I usually get at least £10 worth of vouchers each time they are send out, often more than this. Applying for a Tesco Clubcard and the card itself Applying for a Tesco Clubcard is simple, all you need ..." Read review

Every little helps!

AdvantagesGood day out passes option

DisadvantagesNot a lot of points to obtain for every pound spent.

"...I received my clubcard for Tesco where I was told about terms and conditions as well as the amount of points I could earn per month, how often vouchers are sent out and what I can spend my vouchers on. The process took the average amount of time for a clubcard as my loyalty card for Boots only took two weeks and other loyalty cards that I have have took roughly the same amount of time. The only loyalty card I have which was instant was my New look ..." Read review

Every Little Helps

AdvantagesUnlimited Earning Potential, Fantastic Offers and freshing outlook

DisadvantagesNone

"►►◄ TESCO CLUBCARD ►◄◄ I am not a big fan of loyalty schemes, often they appear to be too good to be true, or you reap little reward for spending a lot of money. I have found that Tesco’s clubcard is different however. I first got my clubcard around 6 years ago and I reckon I have got back at least £200 in rewards since then. Not a lot for 6 years work, but in essence the vouchers always arrive at the right ..." Read review

Clubcard Plus, A clubcard with more.

AdvantagesGet double amount of points

DisadvantagesNewer staff sometimes appeared confused.

"Tesco have a loyalty card known as the Clubcard. It is a little blue card that you use to get points, which are then converted to Vouchers for various things. Most people will have either seen one or at least heard of them. Well, I have a little green card, called a Clubcard Plus. It functions slightly different to the blue one, but the points are converted the same way. But read on to see the differences. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ..." Read review

Want Something For Nothing ???

AdvantagesGreat Exchange Rate Build's Up Quickly Great Deals.

DisadvantagesNone

"...the benefit's of owning a Tesco Clubcard especially now that Tesco are taking of the retail world in nearly every department you can think of. Please bear in mind when rating this review that is is purely a review about Clubcard and not Tesco as a store or company. For those that are unfamiliar with Tesco's reward card this may be a real eye opener and for those who already use it on a regular basis you may find some information that is very useful ..." Points, points and more points!

AdvantagesEasy to collect points and the range of rewards is excellent.

DisadvantagesNone that I can think of

"I have been a Tesco Clubcard member now for quite some time and fine it to be one of the most rewarding points cards around. To sign up to Tesco clubcard is very easy - all you have to do is pick up a leaflet in store which already has a card attached and then just complete the form and post it in the free post envelope they provide with it. Within days they normally send an acknowledgement of you signing up and you can even register to get clubcard ..." Read review
