I've had a Tesco credit card for around a year now. I have to say I have not found it to be the best financial relationship I've ever had. I originally chose the card because you get a clubcard point for every £2 spent. As I buy my groceries at Tesco, and 1 point equals 1 penny in vouchers, this equates to 0.5% cashback. At the time, they had a 0% deal on balance transfers and purchases for 5 months, so I transferred the balance from my HSBC card ...

Their network seems to be down quite often - quite regularly my card will be rejected, even though I have not exceeded any limits etc. I have queried this with them and they deny there is any problem. The call centres are dreadful. Firstly they told me inaccurate info about the 0% interest period, which made me call back to check. Trying to get through to either the Southend, or the Manchester centre is a pure lottery and if you wait to get through, find you are in the wrong centre, the only way to get to the one you want is to ring off and try again!!! What??? Secondly and more worryingly, they told me that they couldn't increase my credit limit ...
