It's not the Fruit that makes you Toot!

Advantages: Good for you, tasty
Disadvantages: Little extras left in between your teeth!

...From The Outside The TESCO Fruit & Fibre looks pretty similar to the Kelloggs, at least from the outside. It's in a purple box, as is the leading brand, and the picture on the front is of the actual cereal itself looking very appetising, with a jug of milk and a few bits of fruit in the background. The Leading brand however puts a bigger emphasis onto the fruit that seems to take the majority of the packaging up. A bit of research tells me that ...
...and almond (I think), the TESCO cereal has what can only be classed as nut sweepings in it that don't really register on the taste scale. It's important to mention that there are nuts in the cereal however insignificant they are as some people have allergies and that can't be helped. A mouthful of this cereal is a delight, the ice cold milk sets off the sweet, juicy flavour of the raisins and the wheaty flavour of the flakes. It's difficult to sum ...

SHAKE YOUR FRUITY BOOTY WITH McFIBRE

Advantages: Great taste, Very healthy, Cheap,
Disadvantages: None at all really, oh yeah not enough apples!

...the Kellogg’s brand, it’s the Tesco version, which is just as good as the Kellogg’s but it’s cheaper and you get more for your money. The fruit and fibre cereal consists of bran flakes, and fruit and it’s full of great FIBRE. **Does it have real juicy scrumptious fruit?** Don’t be daft! It would make the cereal all soggy then. No cereals have the actual fruits in them they put dried fruits instead which are just as good. **So what fruits are in ...
...from?** Well as only Tesco make it, I think it’s only available in Tesco’s. Yes its only available in Tesco. Its healthy for you, so there’s no need for me to put up all the nutritional values. Darkside tell us your overall view: Well its great, I’ve had it for months. It’s exotic and has a nice taste to it. For the price it is well worth it and cheaper than Kellogg’s who only give 500g. It’s full of vitamins and fibre and eating this will ensure ...

Tesco Fruit and Fibre Cereal...Worth getting up in the morning!

Advantages: Good mixture of fruits, leaves you feeling full and ready for the day
Disadvantages: High Sugar Content

...a look around my local Tesco for something to eat for my breakfast I came across the stores own brand of fruit and fibre cereal. With the winter months fast approaching I have decided that I really should try and force myself to have a bit of breakfast before I leave the house on the cold winter mornings. The Tesco Fruit and Fibre appealed to me firstly because I liked the look of the packaging. The cereal comes in a purple coloured cardboard box; ...
...to stick with good old tesco and give it a go. As I previously stated the box comes in a purple colour with a picture of a bowl of cereal on the front, the Tesco logo and a few ingredient listings. The back of the box lists further ingredients, nutritional information and best before dates. The box itself can be recycled and when you open it the cereal comes in a cloudy looking transparent plastic bag which I simply 'snipped' the top of in order ...

Tesco Fruit and plenty of fibre

Advantages: A cereal that is full of fibre
Disadvantages: nothing major

...and I scuttle off to Tesco in search of relief. Yes, you read correctly, relief! I am sure that I am not the only person that suffers from constipation. So if the pipes start to seize up then it is time to set the wheels in motion. A 750g box of Tesco Fruit and Fibre cereal costs around £1.50, so if I am going to spend that much then I want to see results! Tesco have done a good job marketing this cereal product, the picture on the box makes it look ...
...purple, rather regal! The words Tesco Fruit and Fibre stand out in white lettering. Below that is what looks to be a rather extravagant breakfast table, a bowl of Tesco Fruit and Fibre complete with milk takes pride of place. An arrangement of fruit sits attractively around the cereal and the milk jug is there in case you need more milk I assume! At the bottom of the box the nutritional values are clearly displayed. Inside the box the cereal sits ...

Review of Tesco Fruit and Fibre Cereal

A Good Start to My Day

Advantages: Plenty of fruit and nuts through it, filling, Price
Disadvantages: None

I first bought Tesco Fruit & Fibre when I decided I should be eating something a bit healthier for breakfast than choclately, sugary cereals. I have tried both this, Tesco own brand, and the more expensive Kellogs version and I actually prefer this one and it's a lot cheaper. You can find it in only in Tesco, obviously, and it comes in a bright purple box with a picture of the bowl of the cereal on the front. It says it is crunchy wheat flakes with ...
...flakes and nothing else with Tesco version. There are plenty of raisins throughout and small bits of nuts but you can taste them. The banana bits come in large bits and smaller where they've broken but I really like the taste of dried banana, I do see bits of coconut but don't taste it. The only things is when you get to the bottom of the packet everything is a bit crushed and can go a bit mushy when you add the milk, but this problem happens with ...

I'M A LITTLE FRUITY

Advantages: brilliant taste and loads of fruit
Disadvantages: none

...have discovered yet another great Tesco product. I think I should get a job with their promotions department (if there is such a thing). I was having trouble going to the little girls room.” If you know what I mean.” now this is a new problem for me. (Too much information she said) Any time I have bought fiber products in the past, they have been like the scrapings from the bottom of a budgies cage, all wee bits and hardly any fruit. ...
...with Tesco fruit and fiber on it and a nice picture of what was supposed to be inside it looked really nice. I went for the bigger box 750g. When I got it home and opened it I was really surprised as the inner bag was pretty full. That was a real surprise as a lot of these things are usually only half the size of the outside container. When I poured some out on my plate it looked really good. It smells really nice too. Usually these things have ...
