Since I gave up biscuits for Lent (rest assured, now Lent is over, my biscuit intake has resumed as normal) I have become a bit more conscious of how much sugar I actually consume. I’m fully aware that one day it’s bound to catch up with both my teeth and my waistline and I’ve always had a sweet tooth so I’m trying to cut back in areas where I won’t notice it so much, which means getting it out of my drinks instead of my food.
