Roast chicken ..... a firm favourite in our house and eaten fairly often. But with the rising costs of meat it's getting harder to find something affordable, so I've given the humble Tesco Value Chicken a try, with quite pleasing results. Pricing - On this occasion, I paid just £2.09 for our whole chicken! The price per kilo was £1.99 (as at the date of my review), and they had various sizes on the shelf so it's quite easy to find one that would suit a particular families needs.
