Tesco My Baby Bedtime Bath When I left work to start maternity leave all the girls got together and bought me loads of baby clothes and baby toiletries. Amongst a whole heap of bits was Johnson's bedtime bath which states using it can help to give your baby a better sleep. After having Jack and using up all the Johnson's bedtime bath I decided I would buy myself another bottle. On my weekly shopping trip to Tesco I was looking at buying the Johnson's one when I noticed that Tesco did their own bedtime bath bubbles. To buy Johnson's you are looking at paying £1.70p for a smaller bottle than you ... more

    Advantages Advantages Loads of bubbles

    Disadvantages Disadvantages don't cure sleeplessness

My son has suffered with eczema since he was small so has mostly had plain water baths. As he has grown older his skin has improved and rarely even needs Oilatum cream on his skin so have been trying slowly to introduce some bubble bath and soap. I purchased a bottle of Tesco My bedtime bath. It costs £1.18 for 400mls. I chose Tesco as apposed to Johnsons as I have heard that shop brand aren't as strong chemical wide and also Johnsons bedtime bath is £1.85 for 300mls. packaging The bottle is a transparent bottle with flip top. The picture the front is of a sleeping baby which is to any parent ... more

Advantages Advantages Relaxes and calms children before bed, lovel lavender aroma, decent amount of bubbles but not mass

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me.

You want ME to babysit? Are you sure?! It's not often that I'm asked to babysit, not for humans anyway (but that's another story). It's not that I'm inept with children, I just don't always like them and it's always a relief to give them back afterwards. Occasionally when my brother or sister is stuck, as a last resort they'll ask me to help out with their kids, and it was on one of these nights a month or so back that I was first introduced to Tesco's My Baby's Bedtime Bath bubble bath. This product, which is available from all Tesco supermarkets, is designed to have a calming effect on ... more

Advantages Advantages Costs alot less than leading brands!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Dreamy Bedtime! I was using Johnson's bedtime bath on my daughter as she would be up until 10pm every night and thought the bed time bath would help relax her and get her more ready for bedtime! It worked really well, but the cost for one 500ml is £2.47 (Tesco online price) and when you bath a baby every night before bed it soon gets used up. I discovered Tesco Night time bath with lavebder Oil about a month ago. It costs £1.00 for 400ml and does exactly the same as the Johnson's brand. * No tears Formula *Helps relax and calm *Paediatrician approved *Hypoallergenic Everything you would expect ... more

Advantages Advantages does work, smells nice, cheeper than named brands

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

We decided to use this night time bath with my son, to try and help him relax on an evening before bed, as he can be a bit unsettled. As we have read, lavender helps relax you so we thought it would be perfect. Another factor in choosing the Tesco brand was because Tescos own stuff tends to be cheeper than named brands. A bottle (400ml), costs £1.75 on the Tesco website, which I think is good as we use it every night. As well as helping your little monkey to relax (which it does seem to do with my son), it has a no tears formula (which also works, when my son soaks the bathroom with splashes) ... more
