Paper, plain and simple

AdvantagesCheap!

DisadvantagesNone

"...is this one from the Tesco Value range. It is available to buy from Tesco either in store or online, whatever way you do your groceries. It costs no more than £2.50 for a block of approximately 500 sheets. The paper is packaged exactly how you would imagine in a paper packaging that wraps around the block. The packaging is the same as all other Tesco value products being mainly white in colour with splashes of red and blue thrown in to break up ..." Read review

Cheap paper for a cheap price.

AdvantagesCheap,Lots of sheets, well packaged.

DisadvantagesA bit thin, not suitable for all printing jobs.

"...having a random wander around Tesco in the early hours of Christmas Eve I spotted the Tesco Value A4 White Paper at the eye grabbing price of £2.49, so I popped one in my trolley. ~*~*~*What do I get for £2.49?~*~*~* The Tesco Value Paper seems to have missed the re-branding to Tesco Everyday Value and still has the same red and blue motif of some of the old products. The paper packaging is recyclable and holds my sheets of paper together well until ..." Read review

Cheap and cheerful plain white paper

AdvantagesCheap and of acceptable quality

DisadvantagesThinner than other paper

"...University I always used this Tesco Value A4 paper. This paper comes in a ream with 500 sheets. I find the cost varies between Tesco stores but costs somewhere between £2.30 and £2.50. At present it costs £2.38 on www.tesco.com. The paper is packaged in a white paper wrapped with the product information on it. The packaging is easy to open. The paper is 80gsm and when you feel it in your hands, it feels smooth and of an acceptable quality. The ..." Read review

Good Value Results

Advantagescheap, good enough quality

Disadvantagesnot as smooth as other papers for a higher finish

"...this paper from Tesco. Being Tesco Value I was a bit concerned the quality might be a bit too cheap and a bit flimsy but for the price it would be no great loss to me even if it was as it wasnít exactly too pricey. ===PACKAGING=== The packaging of this paper comes pretty much in the style of most of the Tesco Value range. It is in a white paper wrapper and has the red and white band and then on the front states that it is A4 white copier paper. ..." Read review

Shove it in the printer and go!

Advantagesprints well, decent for the price

Disadvantagescan tear easily, basic looking packaging

"...a few reviews about this Tesco A4 paper on here I decided to pick up a pack to stock up! The paper comes in a thick pile which is wrapped in a basic outer paper wrapper which is sealed like an envelope and we tend to open only one end so we can grab a few sheets out at a time. The design is slightly basic with the red border at the bottom which states is contains 500 sheets of 80gsm paper and that it is size A4 and white copier paper. It is reasonably ..." Read review

Value drawing paper for the kiddies!

AdvantagesCheap, 500 sheets, simple packaging, white paper, quite thin which works well for me.

DisadvantagesNot the cleanest paper or best quality for a low price.

"...reason that we purchase this Tesco value a4 white paper. It's available, in store or online, from Tesco and for £2.50 and for this price you get 500 sheets of paper. This works out at just 0.5p per page and for this low price I don't mind if my nieces and nephews use half a packet to draw on every time they come over as it's fun for them and saves them drawing on my walls! This paper comes provided in a thick wrapping that you just tear open at the ..." Read review

A not so pricey paper

AdvantagesCheap

DisadvantagesNone for me

"...months ago whilst shopping in Tesco I was down the stationary aisle I came across the Tesco Value A4 Paper which at £2.38 for 500 sheets I thought it was definitely worth a try considering that I only really need it for drafting documents and letters. I have used a few items from the Tesco stationary range before and have found their products perfectly usable and definitely good quality so I wasnít too concerned that the paper wouldnít be up to the ..." Great value paper - useful for general purposes

AdvantagesCheap, usable,.great everyday paper.

DisadvantagesMight be a bit thin for special projects.

"...thick white paper package and Tesco state that it is 'great for low cost, high volume printing'. The paper is shown to be able to be used for copiers (inkjet or laser), plain paper faxes or typewriters. The paper is 75 gsm (grams per square metre) - meaning its thickness - the higher the number the thicker the paper. The packaging advices to keep the paper flat and to avoid extremes of temperature and moisture. The paper is ..." Read review

Tesco Value A4 White Paper

AdvantagesGood quality, price

DisadvantagesNone

"As a student I go through a tonne of paper. I'm always having to print bits and bobs, especially in the revision season, and I also often use plain paper if I'm doing mindmaps or diagrams to aid my revision. I would say I go through anywhere between 5-20 sheets a week even though I tend to recycle old sheets by simply writing my notes on the back or around the margins. This means I need to buy in bulk and not only for cost effectiveness. Tesco Value's ..." Read review

A great all rounder

Advantagesbrihgt white, great price, prints on well, great for the children

DisadvantagesThin

"...but this particular is from Tesco as it is part of the Tesco Value range or the everyday value range as it is now called. A packet of 500 sheets costs £2.38 which I think is great value as it is less than half a pence per sheet, I was quite surprised recently to see Sainsbury's sell a pack at £6 for less sheets, I hadn't realised just how much paper could cost. The paper comes wrapped in a sort of waxy feel paper, it is packed tightly and sealed ..." Read review

Tesco Value A4 Copier Paper

AdvantagesCheap and does the job

DisadvantagesBit cheap and flimsy looking

"...did a pack in the Tesco Value range, and they did. For the price of £2.50 I got a ream of paper which had 500 sheets in it. I didnít really need this much paper but to purchase less paper actually would have cost me more so I decided to keep some in for future needs and thought that at least this pack is likely to last me a hell of a long time. I just wanted bog standard white A4 paper and this is what I got. It claims to be 80GSM ..." Read review

Cheap and cheerful

AdvantagesCheap, excellent quality, versatile

DisadvantagesNone

"...the stationery aisle of my Tesco Extra, where I do a lot of my shopping. The paper is A4 size and is 75gsm. The paper has no lines and itís suitable for laser printers as well as the inkjet variety. As soon as I get the paper home, I take off the outer wrapping and place the sheets inside a drawer I have inside the computer table in my spare room. I like to keep it flat as otherwise it wonít go through the printer as well and it can get jammed very ..." Read review

Cheap with decent results

AdvantagesVery cheap, decent weight and thickness.

DisadvantagesCheaper materials result in slight ink bleeding and a yellowish tint.

"...each week. This is where Tesco came to my rescue. By selling this paper at £2 to £3 for 500 sheets, I am able to keep my study costs down and have more money for drinkin... urm... I mean... donating to the poor! This paper is 75 gsm (grams per square metre) which is a decent paper mass (Generally, the higher the better). This means that the paper is made of decently dense material. However, although it is fairly thick, I do not believe it is thick ..." Read review

Excellent value especially for students .

AdvantagesGreat value if you do a lot of printing

DisadvantagesDoes go s little wavy if printing images

"...Luckily, on a visit to Tesco we spotted the Value A4 paper, which seemed like it would do the job, at just £2.40 for 500 sheets. The paper is nothing to write home about really. It's A4 and bright white in colour, with a totally smooth texture, and is a nice thickness, not feeling flimsy in my hands. It seems to hold the ink really well when printed on, and feeds well through my printer. It does on occasion take a little while for the ink to dry, ..." Read review
