...nutritious.
The tin of Tesco Beans and Sausages is a basic design with a simple blue striped paper label to indicate the cheaper of the ranges produced by Tesco. I think you can say this about most supermarkets cheap ranges. Safeways cheap beans come with a simple white and green label whilst Kwiksaves labels are simply white.
The advantage of the basci labels is tat they can keep the costs to a minimum. As long as you get all the information you ... ...make sure your tins are not dented! The product itself cost a meer 36p for a whopping 567g which is 167g bigger than an average tin of beans.

When you open the tin, using a tin opener as they obviously think it is too costly to put ringpulls on, you can see, yes, you guessed it, beans. The sauce is quite dark in colour, ...

Tesco value baked beans and sausages
These beans come packaged in a tin with the tesco value blue striped paper wrapper with the words in red. I quite like basic labelling it must save a fortune so many things are over packaged, only problem is you have to be able to read/ understand the language to find out what’s in the tin

Advantages: Lots Of Bean And Sauce Disadvantages: Few Sausages, Sauce Lacks Taste
...to my review today on Tesco Value Baked Beans and Sausages.
Appearance
Well first off the tin has a very simple design, which consists of a white paper label and with the name and nutritional values written in dark blue and a red ring around the bottom. The first thing you notice however is the lack of a ring pull, which really annoys me as I have no idea where I left the can opener I brought back from Uni and am now reduced to using the one that’s ... ...taste to it. Once again Tesco seem to have tried to please everyone and failed completely. The sauce is by no means bad it’s just that it doesn’t have a whole lot going for it either.
Value
A 567g tin costs 0.38p, however the tin makes two decent sized portions so it’s only 0.19p per portion. Overall it’s not bad, it’s just that it’s pretty standard affair however this really should have been guessed from the label. If I was sort of money I would ...

Advantages: Good taste, nice sausages, very cheap, recyclable can Disadvantages: No ring pull, beans aren't Heinz (but then they don't cost Heinz money).
...lunch items from my local Tesco store. The can is aluminium and has a paper label with the familiar Tesco value logo as well as the heating instruction & nutritional information. There is no ring pull on the can but it's very easy to open with a can opener and this helps to keep the product nice and cheap so I don't mind at all. Once the can is opened I can see beans in tomato sauce with a few mini sausages poking out and it looks quite well proportioned ... ...put them on the hob for a few minutes. I warm them through for about 5 minutes (without boiling them) whilst I am waiting for my toast to cook in the toaster. Once my toast is ready and buttered I spread the beans & sausages over the toast along with all of the tomato sauce and a sprinkling of grated cheese (yum!). The sausages are lovely and meaty without being over the top. They are basically like mini frankfurters and the beans taste fine. The ...

...am a fond lover of tesco value foods, being a poor student! They are usually very cheap and don't taste too bad either!
This product has both these qualities. If you, like me, are lacking in funds and are often in to much of a rush (or just can't be bothered!) to make a meal, these are great because they can be cooked on the ho bor in the microwave in less than 5 minutes. You can have them with toast or chips, but the best time to have them is for ... ...extremely inexpensive at around 40p or less per can, with the can making a sizable meal for one or a reasonable portion for two. They are good enough quality to not only be edible for poor students like myself! These are also great for busy mums or people on the go as they are healthy and do taste nice. Great for kids for lunch or to go with dinner. My nephew is quite a particular eater, but he does not object to these.
Tastewise they aren't the ...

Advantages: Cheap, filling Disadvantages: Salty and a little sickening.
Well I was quite drunk one evening at a freinds house and as he lives accross the road from tescos and I was hungry I went browsing for food, well when i went in there I realised i'd left my wallet at his, even though it was just accross the road i thought, well it's a budget supermarket i'll use the change I have. So down the tins aisle I went, saw these, fitting my budget, to a drunk man a tin of beans with sausages it seems like the best thing ... ...they're beans. I bought them, stuck them in my coat and went back to my freinds house. Upon opening the tin, the smell was awful, it was very salty and made my head hurt a little, the sauce was quite thin and there was a layer on top about a quarter inch thick, not overly impressive. I perseverved, when poured into a bowl it doesn't look overly attractive the sausages were quite small and square, very soft, almost like pate, as i stirred they would ...

Advantages: sausagey goodness, packed with beans Disadvantages: sausages are a bit small
Im a daredevil, yes cheese on toast but NO to ketchup on celery, but beans and sausages, yum yum and once again yum.
Ever the watcher of pennies, I look and find the value beans and sausages from Tesco. Its value to the max as its only the word sausages that shows you its not normal beans ( well that and a slightly bigger can).
Cheap as chips though, about 15 or 16p ( ive found depending on the store size) for a can.
On opening it, count the sausages!!! ... ...will give you a refund) because lets face it 1 sausage is not on LOL
I have had a few of these and every can has had at least 8 fairly big thick sausages in, about 3-4 inches in length.
They cook just like normal beans, in a pan or whatever, no fuss no hardship but the nicest thing of all is that the sausages taste of sausage ( not value pretending to be meat sausage) AND they make the beanjuice sausagey as well!
Just the right amount of sauce, ...

(+) Cheapest of the high-end of the market brand beans, Highest bean and tomato content on the market, (-) None really. Can get cheaper beans but they are in my view of inferior quality and content.
