    I have never been a huge lover of doughnuts but every so often I will decide that I fancy some and will venture to the local Tesco to see what I can find. Sometimes I will go for the Homer Simpson style 'dough ring', but often I will go for the 'dough ball' - the more spherical option of the two. And Tesco offer a lovely jam doughnut! WHAT IS IT?     Doughnuts are probably a weakness of mine. Mainly because it's bread (which I'm fanatic about) and jam or some other topping like icing and sprinkles etc (white I also love). Tesco's is the only supermarket that actually does a 'value' single doughnut, or 'value' doughnut altogether and it taste so much better than the Asda packed doughnuts, as well as being cheaper. There are loads of kinds of doughnuts based on topping. I mean, some are powdered, iced, soft sugared, hard sugared, dusted, plain etc... This one is soft sugared. I fancied something abit different and i adore doughnuts and hadn't had them in a while.
