It's just a load of hot air...

AdvantagesCheap to buy and an effective heater for small spaces, safety cut out mechanisms

DisadvantagesNot the most powerful heater

"...in warmth. I bought this Tesco Value fan heater to tide us through until the gas man could come and fix the boiler, and for the £10 I paid (now £9 from Tesco Direct) I've been more than happy with it. It's fairly small with a height of just 23cm and a 22cm width, the curved design being much more attractive than those squat oblong heaters that you can buy - the 12cm depth means it will slot into small spaces with ease and the fact that ..." I'm a Fan

AdvantagesCheap, functional and safe

DisadvantagesNo rotatory feature, can be noisy and smelly

"...heating on. I purchased the Tesco Value Fan Heater FH11. What is it? Costing only 9 English Pounds, this is a 2 kilowatt stand up heater, not very big Ė just 24.5 cm high, 22.5 cm wide with a depth of 13.5cm. This white and grey heater weighs just 1.17 kilos. It is thermostats controlled with 2 heat settings with overheat protection and safety tip over switch. There is no timer unlike many fan heaters and it cannot be wall mounted, so has ..." Read review

Tesco Value FAN Heater FH11

AdvantagesCheap and does heat the room

DisadvantagesCam emit a bit of a smell which can be worrying

"...lot of use, so the Tesco Value fan seemed to be just what I needed. I was a bit concerned that this £9 would not last more than a week or so, but it is still working 4 months later. It has 2 heat settings so there is not a great deal of choice in temperature, but if it got really cold it would not be getting used that much anyway as the heating would go on so that was not a problem. I was a bit worried about the safety of using this ..." Read review

Tesco FH11 fan heater Review with images

Advantagescheap, durable easy to use

Disadvantagesnot for long use, uses alot o power if run along time

"The Tesco FH11 value fan heater. Having been working in my garage on various things, rebuilding a mountain bike working on a car, painting doors I found I needed a source of heat, nothing to big as my garage isnít massive or indeed empty. I plumed for the Tesco cheap the Value FH11 fan heater and low and behold its is very good it has kept me warm for a few hours on many a weekend and evening while I have been pottering around. The little fan ..." Read review

Good Little Value Heater

AdvantagesCheap to buy

DisadvantagesNoisy

"...we were looking on the Tesco Direct web site and saw they had one for just £9. The said heater is from their Value range but we have bought items from this range before and found them to be ok so we decided we had nothing to lose in ordering one. The heater is quite small and lightweight which is a good thing as when we are not using it I can put it away in the cupboard and it does not take up much room. The outer shell is white and the grill ..." Read review

Tesco Fan Heater FH11

AdvantagesCheap and works pretty well

DisadvantagesLooks hideous, feels cheap and tacky

"...and ended up purchasing the Tesco Value FH11 Fan Heater. The main thing that attracted him to this heater was the price as it retails at around £9.00, which is a pretty decent price for a fan heater. He certainly didnít choose this heater for its looks as it is the most hideous, ugly thing I have ever seen. You canít expect much from a heater that is this cheap but it really does look rather cheap and nasty and it feels really lightweight and flimsy ..." Read review

A Good Value Heater

AdvantagesCheap, easy to use, does the job, safety features

DisadvantagesSmall, can be a bit noisy

"...we could find, choosing the Tesco Value Fan Heaters (model FH11) at £10 apeice. These were also easy for us to get hold of as they were stocked in our local Tesco superstore. Now this is a nice easy fan heater to use, with a 2000 kilowatt power output and two heat settings. I had a small-ish room and it heated my room sufficiently in about 20 minutes on the higher power setting, and it also warmed up larger rooms relatively quickly. ..." Read review

CHEAP HEAT

Advantagesgreat price

Disadvantagesnone really

"...out of 1 of the Tesco Superstores and this cost a bargain £9. Possibily not the fanciest Fan Heater out there but good for a bargain buy. This is a 2 Kilowatt Heater and this stands not very high - just under the height of a Ruler so this can be propped on a shelf or tucked away since it doesn't take up all that much room. This only has 2 Heat settings, whereas a more expensive one may have more than 2. As I said this has a Cool air too, so ..." Read review
