Handy for protecting Hands

AdvantagesCheap, good fit, protects hands, good arm length

DisadvantagesMore for the female market, slim fingers

"...I opted for were the Tesco Value rubber gloves as they seemed to be decent enough and for the amount of times I would be wearing them (I mean I donít often clean the cooker!) they seemed suitable. The gloves comes in a white plastic bag which has a red banner on the top with the product name in, above this is the Tesco value logo. On the back of the packet is all the information about the gloves and some small warnings. The gloves are bright ..." Read review

Tesco nails it!

Advantageslots!

DisadvantagesNone for the price

"...gloves a good grip. The Tesco value pair have no ridge although they are not especially slippery. The instructions on the packet suggest you dry the gloves after use ,although this is a bit hit and miss as far as I am concerned. I do hand the gloves over my taps when not in use and I think this helps prolong their life. Overall I think these value gloves are an excellent buy and will definitely be buying them again! ..." Value rubber gloves

AdvantagesVery cheap, work well

DisadvantagesNone

"...above the price is amazing. Tesco sell these gloves in a pack of two which costs just £0.53 meaning each pair of gloves cost you £0.27. I buy quite a few pairs at a time and have a pair upstairs for the toilets, one downstairs for the washing up etc. These gloves are not thick enough to be effective in the garden in my opinion but I do keep a pair outside for doing a bit of cleaning when I clean the garden furniture and garden toys down etc. I would ..." Another Everyday Value Tesco Product

AdvantagesPrice and high quality

DisadvantagesNone

"I donít use rubber gloves every time I wash up by hand but at this time of the year I do suffer from dry knuckles (even though I use hand cream and wear gloves when I walk the dog). So, if I am going to have my hands immersed in water for a long period of time, then I have to use rubber gloves in order to protect them and prevent them from getting any worse. I used to use the more expensive Marigold rubber gloves but to be honest I do think they ..." Read review

Tesco Value Rubber Gloves

AdvantagesProtect hands well, are waterproof and are stronger than they appear

DisadvantagesNone really

"...just go for the cheap Tesco value ones. In a pack you get two pairs of yellow rubber gloves with the pack costing around 49p which is quite good value for money. The one thing you do notice almost immediately when using these gloves is that they are in fact thinner than other more expensive gloves, but provided they provide decent protection for my hands then this isnít a major concern for me. For the price you pay, these are actually decent ..." Read review

I'm scrubbing with these on!

AdvantagesCheap, do not tear easily, fit well and come quite far up my arm.

DisadvantagesNone.

"...rubber gloves are from the Tesco Value range and cost just 53p for two pairs. I think that these rubber gloves represent fantastic value for money. I must say that these rubber gloves are quite good for just 26.5p a pair! They are thinner than some gloves that I have used in the past but I have no problems using them and my nails have not gone through them at any time. They come up my arm high enough that water does not get in to them easily when ..." Read review

Rubber thumb up from me!

Advantagescheap

Disadvantagesnot very well fitted - thin - cant use abrasive products with them

"In general I love the Tesco own range as I find a lot of their products are just as good as the big branded more expensive stuff! Certain things I refuse to pay a lot of money for and rubber gloves are one of them. Hands up I always have a pair of Marigolds to hand for when I am using bleach / abrasive products as I have more confidence that my hands are protected due to the quality and thickness... however when I occasionally wash pots and pans in ..." Tesco Value Rubber Gloves

AdvantagesCheap & Fit Well

DisadvantagesNone

"...my favourite and that is Tesco Value Household Rubber Gloves. At just 53p for a pack of 2 pairs I find they cannot be beaten for value. The rubber gloves are sold in a simple white plastic bag which has very little on it. Just the Tesco Value logo and a red band that says they are Household Rubber Gloves and are medium sized. Now I cant say for definite if they do any other sizes in the value range but medium is the only size my local Tesco ever ..." Read review

'Marigoldste' they call me!! lol

AdvantagesGreat household glove

DisadvantagesNone

"...is where I think the Tesco Everyday Value ones come into their own. They come in a plastic bag, which is sealed and are bright yellow in colour (hence marigoldste) and there are two pairs of gloves. The gloves are made of latex and are flock lined and are also very easy to slip on. As I can have them on for upto 8 hours in a day I think I can give them a good 'test' on the fields in relation to quality. As I'm digging a lot there is a lot of rubbing/friction ..." Read review

To protect my sore hands

AdvantagesCheap, good size, stay on hands well

DisadvantagesNot as durable as some

"...really bad. I like the Tesco and Asdas value ranges so I had no doubt that the Tesco Value rubber gloves would do the job fine and bought them for 47p for a packet containing two pairs of the gloves. The gloves came packaged in a plastic packet with simply the name of the shop and the name of the product on the front, when I bought these they had the usual blue and red Tesco Value logo but Tescos own brand has changed to everyday value now with ..."
