    Advantages Advantages Cheap, acts like mozzarella.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Very bland flavour and rather too watery.

    I have a breadmaker which I use pretty much daily. (I know an odd way to begin a review on mozzarella, but bear with me). One of the things I like to make in it is pizza dough, and obviously when making pizza at home, you need mozzarella (you see where I'm going now I hope ;) ). I have tried quite a few different brands of mozzarella over the time I've been making my own pizzas, and I've found that they are pretty variable in price as well as in flavour and consistency.     Advantages Advantages Fantastic price, easy to use, goes great with garlic baguettes!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Could have a little more flavour.

    I do a lot of cooking and it's just unfortunate that I am on quite a tight budget at the moment so need to try and save pennies wherever possible whilst still enjoying what I cook and subsequently eat. I spotted this Tesco value mozzarella in the fridge section at my local Tesco store and at just 45p for a 125g packet I decided to put some in my basket and give it a try out that evening when cooking spaghetti Bolognese and I used the mozzarella for putting inside a home cooked baguette and adding garlic butter to create my own at home garlic bread.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Bland a little rubbery

    125g of Tesco’s value Mozzarella cheese comes in a white plastic bag it only costs 40p that’s equal to 3.20 a kilo. When I have been cost cutting I have bought this rather than the more expensive ones in Tesco. I do not buy Tesco value Mozzarella to eat uncooked but I buy it to use on top of my home made pizza. I have my pizza prepared base with tomatoes and whatever else I fancy putting on top. I then open the white plastic bag. I use scissors or a carving knife blade to cut the plastic bag.
