This cake is really lovely and is now my first choice when I have a little change in my back pocket. Tesco value Raspberry sponge is basically a victoria sponge cake except the filling is with marshmallow rather than cream. So, what's good about this product? 1. Price: It only costs 46p for a really decent sized cake - The cake is a 14cm by 14cm circular sponge (much bigger than the Asda Smart Price Raspberry sponge). Mr Kipling is one of the finest creators of confectionery, agreed? I was browsing the shelves at Tesco when I noticed his mini Victoria sponge cakes. I bought this raspberry sponge cake from Tesco, however I'm afraid I can't remember the price! I remember it being cheap which is why I got it! Packaging; .... The box is pretty boring, however the picture of the sponge cake doesn't promise anything amazing... in fact it looks quite similar to the cake you get! I thought this was great as a lot of cake boxes tend to exaggerate on their packaging! The cake is quite flat, and doesn't look all that appealing to be honest!
