Not budget stretching at all!

Advantagescheap and it works

Disadvantagesconcerns over long term durability

"...aid cabinet, which includes the Tesco Stretch Bandage. What is it It's a 5cm x 4.5m stretched white bandage, part of the recently revamped Tesco value range, and priced very competitively at just 28 pence. The normal crepe bandage was priced at 84 pence and of the same size. Usage A nasty fall on a wet floor meant my elbow was poking out of the skin and not tucked neatly under as it should be. Whilst, explaining to my concerned wife that a ..." Read review

Nice Cheap Bandage

AdvantagesCheap to have for an emergency

DisadvantagesNone

"...a quick look on the Tesco web site as we were just going to put in our monthly grocery order and was pleased to find they sold some on there. They are in their value range and only cost 28p each which is brilliant for the price so we ordered a couple of them. When they turned up the next day they were wrapped in a cellophane cover with the normal blue and red logs on them for the Tesco Value range. The bandages measure 5cm x 4.5 cm so plenty big ..." Wrap it up!

AdvantagesCheap, look good and they are really soft and breathable

DisadvantagesReally thin

"...bed! My mate went to Tesco to get me a bandage and actually came back with 5 of these to see me though and as I'm a clumsy clot a couple went into my huge medicine cabinet for the future. The Packaging: These come in a see through plastic covering in a roll and with a white, blue and red label on it and on that we are told that they are Tesco 'Value' Stretch Bandage 54x4.5cm (stretched) then on the back of it we are told ..." First aid provisions

AdvantagesNot bulky. Stretchy. Price. Sterile in packaging.

DisadvantagesMaybe too thin. Narrow.

"...bandage I used was a Tesco Value Stretch Bandage which I bought in Tesco for just 28p - which I believe is a pretty fantastic price. The bandage is a basic bandage that doesn't have any bells and whistles - but it does the job. It comes in the Tesco Value wrapping, and it is sterile until the packaging is opened. The packaging also tells us that the bandage is 4.5 cm wide and 54 cm long - and so it is long enough to wrap around a limb several times. ..." Read review

Tesco Value Stretch Bandage

AdvantagesCheap and good quality, soft, absorbent

DisadvantagesNone

"...I spotted these bandages in Tesco a couple of days ago and bought two of them as at just 28 pence each they seemed like brilliant value and a much cheaper alternative to adhesive dressings. The bandages come rolled up in a plastic packet which is easy to open. The packet is easy to open and the branding while minimalistic isn't too ugly or cheap looking. The bandage itself is white. It is made from a soft, thin cotton-like material and it measures ..." Read review

Protection for under 30p

AdvantagesSoft, great size, easy to use, cheap

DisadvantagesNone

"...I bought this bandage from Tesco a while ago just to have in the first aid box and it only cost me about 25p at the time. I have recently ended up using the bandage so am now going to review it. The bandage is part of the Tesco Value range which is now called the Everyday Value range however you can buy very similar items in chemists and other supermarkets. The bandage comes packaged in a simple plastic wrapper which has a piece of paper inside ..." Read review

Good as a First Aid standby

AdvantagesDoes the job

DisadvantagesNo good for sprains and strains - too flexible

"...have a couple of the Tesco Value range of support / crepe bandages in our First Aid tin under the stairs in case of emergencies. I have personally only ever used this bandage once before but my other half has used one on herself too in the past. The bandage, as I say, is Tesco’s own brand and as such is simply and plainly packaged as you would expect. The packaging is plain white with the red and blue Tesco logo and simply states ‘Stretch Bandage’. ..." Read review
