A cheap phone that got me out of a bind.

AdvantagesEasy to use, quick to start using, great sound quality, no crackling.

DisadvantagesNot cordless but for £5 I can't complain really.

"...me her spare phone, this Tesco slimline gondola phone, to use until I purchased a new one. I did not buy this item new but speaking to my Mum she remembers paying around the £5 mark and I can see from having a look online that the average price for this appeared to be around the £4 mark. A few are still available in selected stores from what I can tell but I could not find this item on the Tesco Direct website for a click & collect order. Anyway, ..." Read review

Great Quality Cheap Telephone.

AdvantagesPrice, does not look cheap, easy to setup, doesn't run out of battery, great quality sound.

DisadvantagesNone

"...was pleased to see a Tesco branded telephone for sale at only around £4.00, which was a bargain as many of the telephones for sale cost way over £10. Therefore having a quick look at the design and features I popped it into my trolley along with my groceries. I just had a quick look on Tesco website to see if the price has changed, and unfortunately it doesnít seem as though they are selling it anymore, not sure why, it could be that it just out ..." A Good Basic Phone

Advantagesgood basic phone

Disadvantagesno extra features

"The Tesco Value slimline gondola phone costs less than £4 so surely for that price you can't get much you might be thinking. What you do get is a simple and basic phone which does a good job and is an ideal back up phone for power cuts when the fancy cordless house phone won't work because the electricity is off. What you get for your £4 is a corded phone which comes in two parts. The handset contains the number pad, the keys are rubber circles and ..." Read review

Tesco Value TH100 Phone

AdvantagesCheap, good sound quality, does the job

DisadvantagesVery basic and not cordless

"...I could find was the Tesco Value TH100 Slimline Gondola phone. It made me smile when I first got it out the box and looked at it as it is the most basic phone I have seen for a long time, but provided it worked, I didnít really care! This phone was brought from Tescoís for the bargain price of £4.29 which to me is just ridiculous. I didnít think it would even be possible to manufacture a phone at that price, let alone retail it! Having said that, ..." Read review

Cheap and cheerful and does the job

AdvantagesCheap, does the job

DisadvantagesNone

"... We bought this phone from Tesco and it cost us £3.64 although it has now gone up in price slightly to £3.88. The phone is a very simple white corded phone with grey rubber circular buttons on the underneath of the phone. On the base there is space to write a couple of phone numbers although I never bothered with it and the cord it long enough that you can comfortably make a call. The phone has a couple of basic functions but not alot but you can't ..." Read review

Tesco Value Gondola Telephone - excellent value!

AdvantagesUnbelievably good value

DisadvantagesNot many features

"... So, it was off to Tesco to buy another handset, purely (I thought) to establish that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the ones I already owned. Tesco have a surprising and impressive array of phones. Many of them have lots of fancy features, but on this occasion I was only interested in price as I thought it was destined for a drawer after five minutes use. That led me straight to the Tesco Value Gondola, costing a mere £4.28. I wouldn't ..." Read review
