...bottle is basic, but the Tesco value packaging is recognisable. It's white with the Tesco Value name in red and blue on it with a red rim round the bottom. On the back are the directions, ingredients, a warning about the liquid, contact details and their promise to you. The red cap is easily flicked open and shut. ...I was in my local Tesco supermarket the other day, I discovered that they were selling their own brand washing up liquid 2 for 86p as opposed to 58p each. ^^^The Bottle^^^ The bottle is a nice shape, a bit like the Fairy bottles but a lot flatter and has a flip top lid. ...bottle I know that Tesco Value will not match a top brand in a list of comparisons but in its own right stood there all alone it deserves a chance to prove that it is up to the job. Apart from the packaging being very basic and plain- I have noticed that the value brand is a lot more runny/watery then leading or other shop brands,but to make up for this slightly -your 0.13pence bottle of washing up liquid comes in a bottle of twice the size of ...
...to use two bottles it would still only cos 0.26pence which is still a lot cheaper then the top brands. Now we come to performance : I have sensitive skin and find leading brands really irritate my skin after a couple of days use due to the stronger ingrediants.The value brand has the same ingrediants as top brands just more dilute. Now this means that the bubbles won't last as long so you have to be quick and perhaps will need to change the water ...

...usually a special offer of Tesco Washing up liquid, buy one get one free...the main reason for us purchasing for the first time was this. WOW! there were three different fragrances to choose from so we bought one of each, then as we doubled up, so we ended up with six. They smell divine, you DO only need a small amount, to cut through the greasiest of dishes...(pre-diet cooking) and everything sparkles. This is a product well worth buying even ...
...but also the fact it is really good and does a good job, soak lasagne dishes for ten minutes and they wipe clean...honest. Our Tesco charges 79p each bottle and next time you are shopping buy a bottle and see if you go back to your old liquid!! ...

I will never understand why people pay money just for a brand name with something like washing-up liquid. I have used the Tescos own brand washing-up liquid for ages and have no complaints at all. You only need to use a small squirt to get enough to wash your dishes, and to get plenty of bubbles. My husband is a real perfectionist and when he does the dishes he insists on them being done absolutely perfectly, and he manages to wash them without any ...

The only down side to the Tescos brand is that the smell isn't quite as good as it could be, but then it's not like you wear your dishes. I found this washing up liquid to be of a nice smell and noticed that Tesco's own brand does have a lot of choice on the different smelling washing up liquid you can buy.The smells are nice and strong which i personely like but as far as bubbles are concerned, there are not too many of them and found a few more sqirts were needed to do a full roast dinner pot wash for our family of four. when enough liquid is used it did clean and leave my pots nice ...
...in as already find it can be a little itchy to my hands but i must point out that i find many washing up products do this. In a whole i would buy again if it was "buy one get one free but if the offer not on would stick to my normal brand. ...
