Advantages: Quick, easy to use website, great delivery service Disadvantages: favourites not displayed within the tabs
I have been using Tesco.com to do my grocery shopping for a long time now and as mother of a small baby with no car, I find the service to be invaluable.
From the offset the website is easy to use with little clutter and clear concise formatting, click on the clearly labled boxes on the top or choose from the side menu. Each menu or box will take you to the next step this time with tabs to choose from at the top. Place your mouse over each box and ... ...book your delivery slot. Once this is done you can start shopping. At the right hand side is you shopping list where you can see all you items piling up much like a shopping basket. As I mentioned before this website is very easy to use with minimal clutter so you know where and what to click and can do your shopping as quickly as possible. Once you have finished your shopping you just checkout and follow the onscreen instructions. You then recieve ...

So here endeth the lesson for day... I can't make water into wine, nor can I make a meal ... ...want to give back half my weeks shopping to the Tesco driver because Substitute products are not included.... and wait 5-7 days for Tesco to refund my credit card.
At least that's how I read and understood 'About our prices'.
I don't shop in Tesco and ask them if they can wait 5-7 days for me to pay for my shopping - so why should I have to wait that long for a refund for their mistakes... Come to think of it... online shopping is more of a chore ...

Advantages: Good favoutites page. Disadvantages: Appalling customer service. Not all offers in store are not replicated online the same.
I tried Tesco Online shopping and was very unhappy with my online shopping experience. Let me tell you my cautionary tale before you make the mistake of trying this service for your-selves.
1.) They offer a substitution service which you can opt out of. This I did but Tesco still sent substitution goods that I did not want. When I complained to the delivery man he said that the pickers often got this wrong.
2.) When I returned my substitution goods ... ...3.) I mistakenly thought that the in store offers were identical to the online offers, they are not, but they are confusingly similar so it’s very easy to think you’re getting the same offer when if fact you are not. This happened to me and I felt cheated by it.
4.) You have the option to have your delivery with shopping bags or without. I thought I'd ordered bags but when the confirmation came through it said I'd opted not to have them. When I ...

MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I am not someone who likes to give bad reviews but in this case i had no choice. I ordered from them for the first time on Wednesday and me and my mum will never use there online service again it was horrendous I paid four pounds extra for delivery to ensure my stuff came at the right time. ...or doing some serious shopping, tesco.com still remains an exemplary online store. If you read my previous post about online shopping, you will note that the one element which I always look for first in any shopping sites is neatness and ease of accessibility. Tesco's site has so far not disappointed me. I am completely clueless and prone to serious credit card damage when left in a confusing shopping site where tabs and click boxes are scattered ... ...Tesco's neatness- it reminded me of Amazon. As soon as you enter the homepage, you are greeted by a white and blue background with the familiar red Tesco logo at the top. The online store is as basic as you can get : tabs are classified according to themes. A few of these themes include Tesco diets, Community, Baby & Toddler, Clothing, Opticians, Environment, Club card and Books (among the various other tabs). In addition, the homepage will also ...

...I have been using Tesco.com for about three years. I like it for many reasons, but in short it is because they deliver items so quickly. I use it a lot for work and I have found the prices are really really competative. Take for instance our staff room at work. We needed two new toasters, so off I went to Tesco.com and ordered two middle of the range toasters. The following day they arrived by three pm and were installed. There was minimal fuss, ... ...boot! The online catalogue has a very wide range and it is possible to get almost anything. I have noticed though that in terms of books it is easy to get the best sellers...but not other books that may be a few years old...I stick to other sites specifically aimed for those markets for that instead. On the website you can save your address details and also those of the people you deliver items too. It is also possible to save your card details, ...

Since I was pregnant I started online shopping as going round Tesco's didn't appeal to me. Also with the current economic climate we needed to keep control of costs and by doing the shopping online the total of your basket is added up as you go. We have certainly reduced our shopping bills even with the delivery charge. The website is fairly easy to use although I stilll haven't worked out how to save my favourites. The delivery charge varies from ... ...hours. The delivery drivers so far have been very plesant and helpful-especially carrying in the trays when I was pregnant. I love the offers section where you can see products that are on offer by catagory ie dairy. One aspect I do love is the option to not have carrier bags which other supermarkets do not offer and they pack 2 or 3 items in a bag-what a waste. Tesco put all you items in cretes and you just carry them through to your kitchen and ...

Advantages: Generally a good service Disadvantages: Requires monitoring
This is less of a review and more of a warning as an experience today made me think I should issue a quick alert to all online Tesco shoppers! Apart from the time several years ago when my Christmas order did not turn up and they claimed it had been stolen and would not resend, I have been generally happy with the service over the many years I have used it.
Now I am the first to admit that I am quite slip shod when it comes to managing finances ... ...close scrutiny I should but today something jumped out at me! On 28th May Tesco had taken two identical sums from my account thus charging me £89 over the odds! Obviously I had been charged twice for the same order! The gent at Tesco Customer Services was quite helpful when I rang although it took a lot of holding the line and piped music before he agreed they had made a mistake, apologised and promised a refund. Of course he blamed it all on computer ...

I have been using tesco.com for the past 3-4 months and I am still impressed with their service. The website is very easy to use as it separates products into the same categories that you would find them in if you were in the store. SPECIAL OFFERS: The website also highlights the special offers. Deciding to order with Tescos instead of ASDA (read my ASDA out Tesco in for the full story) I hoped we would have better luck here.
To sign up with tesco is very simple. You go on line and just fill in your name and details plus your credit/debit card details, add your tesco club card number and you can begin.

I have shopped on tesco.ie for the past 5 months or so, and as much as I love the service of someone else doing my shopping for me I am no longer going to use it. Yesterday I used Tesco.com for the first time. I think that it is in general a really good service. I chose everything that I needed off the internet, though some things I couldnt get on the site that I know you can get in store, which was frustrating. At the recommendation of a work colleague I decided to try tesco to get my shopping delivered as I've just moved house. I thought it would be a good way to save time and effort! WRONG!!!
