Advantages: Smoother creamier taste than traditional cask ale Disadvantages: None really if drunk in moderation
Why take the rough when you can have Smooth?
Well this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, writing an op about one of my specialist subjects …. BEER.
Tetley’s Smoothflow is a very acceptable alternative to their traditional hand-pulled cask bitter. Admittedly at 3.6% ABV as opposed to 3.7% ABV it is slightly weaker, but it is a different taste all together.
The Cask ale is served at 12°C whereas Smoothflow is served at a much ...

Advantages: Readily available and a good pint for people new to bitter. Disadvantages: Easy to drink so watch out for that hang over.
...to talk about today is Tetley Smooth Flow.
Weighting in at around 3.8% and available in cans and on draught in public houses. This is without doubt my favourite smooth beer, it does come some way down my all time list as I like to drink a pint of real, but if there is no real ale available then this would be my choice.
It is one of the few bitters that has a real smooth and creamy texture that really does slip down your throat without any problems ...

Found Everywhere Review ofTetley Bitter Smoothflowby
pauledlington
Advantages: Can be found anywhere, tastes good Disadvantages: Not as good as other bitters and is never cheap
Tetley's Smoothflow (3.8%) can be found in loads of pubs or bars. The only thing is it is never cheap whereas similar bitter's such as Worthington's(much better tasting) or John Smith's(not as good but simialar style) are cheaper. It tastes good but not as good as Worthington's but if it was a choice between paying less for John Smith's or more for a pint of Tetley's Smoothflow I would definitely choose Tetley's. In can's it is usually pretty cheap ...
