Advantages: Antioxidant, natural, calorie free
Disadvantages: The taste isn't brilliant
...different which is where the Tetley Green Tea with Lemon comes in.
I wasn’t really looking forward to trying it as I had already tried green tea from another manufacturer and wasn’t too keen, but it was kind of her to think of me and so I gave it a go with a smile!
PRODUCT
The name of the product itself is one of the new range of Tetley Special Teas and is called green Tea with Lemon. The tea comes in round teabags which themselves are packaged ...

Green is Good!
Review of Tetley Green Tea with Lemon by
Caru
Advantages: Rich in Anti-oxidants, convenient
Disadvantages: Can be weak, not a flavour to suit everyone
...I saw the neatly packaged Tetley Green Tea with Lemon. The packaging looked appealing and bright, and being as it was advertised as a 'New' product, I thought I would bite the bullet and give it a go.
From my supermarket, it cost 99p which I thought was fairly reasonable for 25 tea bags. On getting home, tired from pushing an unmanageable troley around a crowded shop, the first thing I did was put the kettle on. On putting the teabag into the cup, ...

Advantages: Good way to get benefits of green tea, refreshing
Disadvantages: Needs extra lemon for a better flavour
...bags (at Morrisons).
On the packaging, Tetley claim “We have combined a light delicate green tea with the zesty freshness of lemons, to create a blend that will make you sparkle.” Let’s give it a try….
Green tea is something of an acquired taste and one that I can’t claim to have fully acquired. I persevere because I believe it is good for me and I usually try to mask the slightly pungent natural taste of green tea by drinking one of the green ...

Wakey, wakey!
Review of Tetley Green Tea with Lemon by
Stompie
Advantages: Taste, smell, possible health benefits
Disadvantages: Pack size a bit small
...favourite has to be the Tetley Green Tea with Lemon.
It comes in an attractive pale green tub with a darker green lid containing 25 round teabags. This costs about 99p or thereabouts and is widely available in larger supermarkets. As yet I haven't seen any larger packs which is a pity as 25 bags is quite a small amount if you drink even 3 or 4 cups a day. The ingredients listed are 92% Green Tea and 1% Lemon Peel. The other 7% is "Flavouring". ...

...called "New " range by tetley ,to tempt my taste buds.
It comes in a dinky canister containing 25bags (50g) and has a picture of green tea leaves and half a lemon ,with a pale lime green background with chinese or japaneese symbols.
I bought it in tesco for 0.99 but it may be slightly more expensive in smaller retail outlets.
I dashed home ,coughing & spluterring ( recovering from flu),flipped open the green plastic lid ,ripped open the aluminium ...

IT'S NOT TEA-RIFFIC!!!!!!!!
Review of Tetley Green Tea with Lemon by
annie48
Advantages: NO CALORIES, MAY BE HEALTHIER
Disadvantages: COSTLY, ARTIFITIAL TASTE
When I found Tetley Green Tea with Lemon I thought it must have the same high standard as their normal tea.........no chance!!! To get a lemon taste it has to be soaked for at least three minutes, by which time the tea is too strong.
When you taste the lemon it is artificial and very disappointing. I made it in a teapot, big enough for four cups, and I still had to empty some down the sink and add more hot water just to weaken it a bit!
I suppose ...
