Advantages: Wonderful smell, HUGE amounts of lather, brilliant cleaning experience Disadvantages: Quite Expensive (but still value for money, if you can afford it)
...smelly things) because she returned the favour by giving me a gift voucher for Body Shop. Off I dashed to town, eager to spend my voucher. After spending probably an hour wandering round the store (much to the disgust of my other half) I finally settled on a tub of blueberry body butter, which came with a free shower gel as an added incentive, and it’s the shower gel I have decided to review…
WHAT IS IT?
Juice It is a range of shower gels, body ... ...Today, I will be reviewing the Mango shower gel.
PACKAGING:
Sticking to the Body Shop ethic of using as little packaging and other materials as possible, the bottle is practical rather than pretty. The bottle itself is a simple clear plastic cylinder, with a black screw top. There is a see through sticker wrapped round almost the entire bottle, with a picture of a mango on the front plus product and company details. Although the bottle itself isn’t ...

...Shop shower gel which is the mango and peach shower gel in the juice it range. The reason I like it so much is that the smell is very suble. It is delicate and as you would expect smells like peach. The delicate scent means that you can wear a perfume of a different scent and the smells won't clash!! The consistancy is not to thick or too thin. it means that it is easy to lather but you do not end up with big blobs on the bottom of the shower, which ... ...I am still satisfied with the cleaning quality. I always feel fresh and clean (goodness I sound like an American toothpaste advert!!) The gel contains natural mango and echinacea which they claim will envigorate your senses. I am not sure whether this works. i find that stepping out of bed into the shower envigorates me anyway!! The last time that I bought the shower gel it cost £2 for a 250ml bottle but I think this was due to the fact that the ...

Advantages: Delicious fragrance, helps exfoliate the skin Disadvantages: Difficult to use with a sponge (see opinion)
Juice It is the name of a range of products within The Body Shop. This particular item I am reviewing is the Juice It Strawberry & Red Berries Exfoliating Body Scrub.
According to the tube this body scrub is:
"a blend of natural juices, powdered walnut shell & rosehip oil to polish and smooth your skin".
The product comes in a squeezy tube, containing 150ml of the gel. The tube is tinted pink towards the top but becomes transparent towards the ... ...The tube stands upright on its black flip top lid. In contrast to the typical plain packaging of Body Shop products, the Juice It range of products have slightly different labels in that they show pictures of the fruits contained in them on the label, as opposed to the majority of Body Shop products which have a fairly plain label with only the product details and logo on.
The gel itself has the consistency of a typical shower gel, though obviously ...

Advantages: Smells gorgeous Disadvantages: You might want to eat it
I first came across the Juice It range when i recieved a gift set from a friend at Christmas. The set looked really nice, good quality, and expensive, and consisted of a lovely gift box containing Juice It Strawberry and Red Berries Exfoliating Body Scrub, Juice It Mango and Peach Bath and Shower Gel, Juice It Orange Soap, and a Shower Puff. The set looked really nice, good quality, and expensive.

The packaging is very nice, in bright colours, to correspond with the scent of each item, and pictures of the fruits on the front. The writing on the front of the bottles is very clear and easy to read, and all the information you could need about the product is there, including what the product does, and how to use it.
The Orange soap looked ...

...been a big fan of the Body Shop products as when I was younger (so much younger than today!) I used to suffer with eczema and very few products were suitable for my highly sensitive skin. It is only recently that I decided to try their products out once again and one of those is the Juice It "Strawberry & Red Berries Exfoliating Scrub". The blurb on the packaging states that it is "a blend of natural juices, powdered walnut shell & rosehip oil to polish and smooth your skin". I would agree that this statement sums up this fab product pretty well! Unlike some body scrubs, this one is has a nice consistency (not too runny and not too thick) and lathers up very well, giving you a real ...

...always been a fan of the body shop products especially as they do not test any of their products on animals.
The juice it exfoliating body scrub comes in different ranges:
Strawberry and red berries
According to the tube this body scrub is “a blend of natural juices, powered walnut shell & rosehip oil to polish and smooth your skin’.

The packaging is different to your usual body shop packaging ... ...which is not too overpowering, the smell of strawberries and red berries leaves a subtle scent doesn’t last too long though, but I suppose this isn’t a bad thing if your going to apply deodorant or perfume.
Application of using this product is simple you can use sponge, puff or just by hand, I personally prefer to use a puff as I feel you get more lather and it massages well into the skin, thus giving it a deeper clean.
The price of the 150ml tube ...

...could be able to smell the more fragrant ops posted on Ciao, product sales would go through the roof on some products, and this would be no exception. Grapefruit and mandarin exfoliating body scrub is “a blend of St John’s Wort, powdered walnut shell and lime oil”

The liquid itself is quite thick, but you don’t need much to create a good lather on your skin using a body puff.
I wouldn’t say it has worked any miracles on my skin, but hey, it smells good so I’m sold.
On to the price. Luckily I didn’t buy this, it was a pressie, which is even better because I didn’t choose it either. However, for the 150ml it will set you back a costly three ...

Add some washing up liquid (e.g. fairy) and add something for moisture (e.g. butter) … and hey presto, you have a wonderful mango’n’peach shower-gel… yummy! … apart from the fact that it doesn’t quite foam as much as I’d like it too and the weird smell that appears after a while… must be the butter.

...sitting on a shelf in the Body Shop. But, I was actually first bought this as a present last Christmas. When I unwrapped it, not only was I shocked, but also a bit confused. The bottle bears resemblence to those sport's drinks with the funny lids that you pull up and have to suck. I'm sure if I was a few years younger I would have attempted to drink it!
Now, the packaging is one of my favourite things about it. As soon as I decide this though, the ... ...yummy.
So, what about the actual product then? Is it any good? The smell is absolutely delicious and even though I'm not a child, I still want to pick it up and drink it (like it's a sport's drink!). The one that I prefer is 'Mango and Peach'. I would never have imagined this combination to go so perfectly together. The scent from this shower gel lingers and I've had so many comments about my 'body spray' - hours after I've showered. It makes an ...

I was interested in the new design and shape and the overall attractiveness of the product. This new gel is made in about 6 new juice flavours, some with matching soap bars at £1.50. I bought the Mango and Peach mixture, it cost £3.00 and contains 250 mls. The gel is thick, lathers profusely, so you do not need to use a lot to have a good shower. The smells are devine!
