The Body Shop Lash Build Mascara

I bought this purely on the name - I wanted my lashes building, after all. I should also have known better. I found this rather gooey and difficult to apply to get a good effect with right from the start. One coat was definitely not enough, but it clumped badly with two or more coats. Even replacing the brush didn't help (it usually does). In the end it dried up and became unusable in about three weeks - which, for the number of uses I got from it makes it one of the most expensive masaras I ever bought! I love this mascara, as it really makes my lashes look long and thick. It comes in a great range of colours and there should be a shade to suit everyone. I have very sensitive eyes but I have never found any problem. It is also very easy to remove and is very hard wearing leaving no smudges, it does not flake at all either. As with all mascaras from the Body Shop, this mascara is hypoallergenic and therefore will not irritate sensitive skin another major selling point is the fact that it isn't tested on animals. It is easy to apply to the eyelashes, when buying this product you are usually advised to bend the brush to a 90 degree angle in order to make application easier and to ensure that you reach even the corner lashes. I got givent his product for christmas as part of a gift pack. I dont normally buy stuff from the body shop myself as hen I buy makep its not the first place that comes into my mind. I did however try this product and was quite happy with the results. I like my eyes to really stand out and the colour of this mascara really did that! It was a very deep black colour which is the way I like it. It came in a very compact tube and contained a brush- not a wand like some other products ive used.
