~ The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream ~ Unfortunately, I have skin that could be described as 'problematic' as it has several issues to deal with, such as spot outbreaks and dryness. To combat some of these problems, I regularly use skincare products that contain Tea Tree Oil. Whilst said products are undeniably effective in assisting to combat spots and blemishes, there is no doubt that they can often have an adverse affect on my skin, causing it to dry out, with the odd patch of unsightly dry skin being noticeable on my cheeks and forehead. This is something of a difficult issue to ... more

Advantages Advantages An effective moisturiser - and it improves the appearance of scars

Disadvantages Disadvantages May not be suitable for sensitive or oily skin types

I've been using the Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser for many years, initially as an inexpensive facial moisturiser, but more recently I've found other uses for it. The Body Shop was founded in the UK in 1976 by Anita Roddick. It has now grown into a worldwide business, but still it still remains true to its core values of responsible sourcing and opposition to animal testing. No Body Shop products are tested on animals, although as with all cosmetics some of constituents of the products may have been tested by other companies. The Body Shop was bought by the L'Oreal Group in 2006, however it ... more

+++ The Body Shop +++ The Body Shop is a fairly well-known brand to most women and their shops can be found on most high-streets in the UK. They sell a range of skincare, bath products, make-up and fragrances. I personally go into a store about once a month but I'm more likely to use the website (http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk) because it's much easier to compare products and you can read helpful customer reviews. I'll be reviewing their Vitamin E Moisture Cream which is part of their Vitamin E range. +++ Packaging +++ The cream comes in a plastic pot that is a pale feminine pink with a black ... more

When it comes to facial moisturisers I like to stick with the same type of brand which is Simple. How-ever recently due to the cold weather I have needed something slightly better and stronger to soothe my dry skin. I wasn't really bothered on spending a bit more money on something that would work well to leave my skin feeling moisturised. I have recently got into using a lot of different products from The Body Shop. I have used one of the items from the Vitamin E range and was impressed with the results so I decided to browse this range to see if they had anything suitable for use during the ... more

During one of The Body Shop’s online offer periods last year, I purchased a set of skincare miniatures from the Vitamin E range. I hadn’t had a lot of experience with this range, or Body Shop skincare, before so was pleased to try it. The Vitamin E range is designed for dryer and more mature skin. I’m only in my mid 20s and have combination skin, but I hoped this set would provide effective protection during the winter when I get occasional dry patches of skin. The range is packaged in plain but smart and distinctive pink packaging. The set contained a miniature cleanser, toner, moisture cream ... more

Body shop vitamin e cream I like a nice light moisturiser and when this was recommended to me I decided to give it a go. This small 15 ml pot of the cream costs £4 and is available online at www.bodyshop.co.uk and also in store. It's better value buying the 50ml tub at £10 so this will be the size I buy next. My small pot of the cream comes in a small pot with a screw off and on lid. Once I get it the cream I find its a kind of cream colour and with a very slight what I can describe only as a floral scent. It's not overpowering or unpleasant and neither does it linger but its definitely there ... more

We are all aware of the ethical beauty store, The Body Shop which was founded by Anita Roddick in the 1970's. It now has over 2,000 stores in 54 countries and is the second largest cosmetic franchise in the world. It is known for its global issues around the world and makes sure that its products are not tested on animals, defend human rights etc. Apparently by the end of 2008 65% of their products will contain community traded ingredients. In 2006 they actually spent over $12 million on Community Traded ingredients. One of my favourite products that they sell in their store is their Vitamin E ... more

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream is a good quality cream that moisurises your face and nack and can also be used on your hands. You get a 50ml tub for £9 which is a little expensive but the body shop products are all made with natural ingredients and are not tested on animals. I like the body shop products as they can advise you on which type of product is good for your skin type and this moisturising cream is good for sensative skin which is in need of a little care and attention as we get older we lose more moisture from our skin and it needs to be helped along to prevent drying ... more

I love most Body Shop items, however, only ever buy it when it is on offer or in the sale as I think some of the range is overpriced compared to other brands which are equally as good. Though one item that I always go back to is the vitamin E moisturiser. I use both the day and night cream, but the particular one I shall be reviewing is the day one. This item is exclusive to The Body Shop and their online store. The pot costs £9.00, however, currently on the website it has 30% off and costs £6.30, which is for a 50ml tub. The tub does look relatively small and has a black screw on/off lid. I ... more

I have a stockpile of Body Shop products after a variety of sales and glitches last year resulting in a variety of products for around the £2 mark each including the expensive creams and scrubs. I have slowly been getting through the pile and I still have a lot of things I haven't reviewed yet. One of the items I picked up during a skincare sale which saw me picking up a huge range of skincare items for dirt cheap prices was this Vitamin E moisturising cream. *~* About The Body Shop *~* The Body Shop is an ethical, fairtrade company which sells various toiletries and make-up products. It is ... more
