The Book of Lies - Brad Meltzer

The book of Lies was the first book I had read by Brad Meltzer and I picked it off the shelf because it was an historical fiction involving the world’s first murder weapon – the one Cain had used to kill Abel. The book started well, with a prologue explaining how Cal Harper had witnessed his father kill his mother when he was nine years old. The story then moved to the present day with a new character – Ellis, who was a bit of a mystery throughout the book.
