This book was a really good read and i would recommend Phillip Pullman's books to anyone as i have read quite a few of them. 'The Broken Bridge' is a gripping, sad story of a 16 year old girl, Ginny, discovers that her father has a son which she didn't know about and other secrets her family have been hiding from her. ...her whole life and as the book unfolds she finds out a lot of truths about herself. She finds out about her mother, that she has a half brother, her dad spent a short period of time in jail and that her grandparents are horible people.
