Advantages: Its a good story
Disadvantages: It doesnt feel quite right

...in Waterstones or Blackwells. In the end we had to order it from WH Smiths who didn't stock it either!! Anyway, we finally got it 2 weeks later and found it was the latest definitive version which also has previously unpublished material. Which makes life difficult particularly if you have read the earlier editions. Advantages: Gives us an insight to what it was like to live in Germany as a Jew during the second world war
Disadvantages: Heart rendering,extremely shocking and tragic

Out of the so many books i have read so far in my life, 'Anne Frank-The Diary Of A Young Girl'has got to be one of the best emotionally. The book helps understand what it was like for a girl of 13, to have to live in silence, not be able to go outside and always the fear in case your caught. Before reading the book its hard to imagine what living during a war would be like, and even harder to imagine a young girl trying to survive from the Germans. ... Read review

...like coughing when she had the flu, could mean the family was captured. The book, in my opinion is a great classic read of the last century - and even as I have grown up - years on from when I first read it, I can still read it now, and be just as excited, involved and emotional as I was the first time I opened it up. Advantages: Highly informative and emotional book exploring the plight of the Jewish people during the Holocaust.
