...be in town, going past the Disney Store. Inspiration struck. Everyone loves a bit of Disney don't they. Young or old, there's a bit of magic waiting for everyone.
I'm not a frequent visitor to Disney stores and there is only one near me which is in Southampton. They appear more in the larger city centres rather than in every town. According to the online Disney store there are 58 stores in the UK.
When I last visited, I remember noticing the huge ... ...lot smaller. Unfortunately, last week, the pile had almost diminished altogether.
I know that stock lines increase all the time, especially with a new Disney movie coming out nearly every school holiday, so the teddy bear pile was going to have to be sacrificed to make way for other lines.
My local store (and I have visited two others as well), is always cramped and full to bursting with stock. This isn't done in a messy way, but I do worry when ...

...himself who had himself frozen, the Disney store is always one of the best shops for me to visit. Whilst taking an extend lunch break I went on a shopping expedition, I just got paid and so had money burning a hole in my bank account, after wandering in and out of numerous shops and buying stuff that I really didn’t need I ended up in the Disney store. This is why the lunch break became extended. This store always incites me in, I don’t ... ...the shop, or the whole range of cuddly teddies beneath it, but when I walk past the window I regress several years and am that big kid again pulling their parents into a shop and sulking when they don’t get what they want. I suppose it’s the effect of the shop, not me?! If we look at the shop from a marketing point of view it’s layout is very well thought through, it draws you in and even if you don’t want to you end up looking ...

Advantages: Lots of different Disney items, excellent quality, lovely stores, wonderful staff Disadvantages: Can be pricey and things sell out fast
...in to huge detail about the history of the The Walt Disney Company as most people already know it! I am however going to write about The Disney Store. In the UK there are 56 Disney Stores which are usually based in major cities around the country. They sell lots of different Disney branded things such as their Baby Disney Range, Children's Clothing, Adult Clothing & Accessories, Toys & Action Figures, Soft Toys, DVDs, Books, Homewares, Stationery, ... ...Stores are all pretty much the same layout and design. They tend have a large TV Screen at the back of the store which continiously shows Disney Movies and clips. They also have Disney Movie soundtracks playing all the time! Around the ceilings of most Disney Stores are large plastic Disney characters. Everything is designed to be very "magical". I have never seen a store designed the way that Disney design their stores! Quite a few UK Stores are ...

Advantages: Great for pressies Disadvantages: Price
...most big Towns or Cities. The stores are great for those small or large Christmas present for big and small kids alike. If your looking for something small and fun to give to a relative or just a small present for your kids then this is the place to find them. You can however get larger pressies too. You do pay for them though! The merchandise they sell is of a very good quality though so I didn’t have any problems with paying that little bit extra.
... ...you will look at everything! The shelves are low down so the kids can see the stuff too, but then they’ll probably end up moaning at you to buy them! The store staff always seem very friendly too and as I bought my products I got a nice merry Christmas wish from 2 of the store staff which was nice, you don’t get that in many other stores. So what’s in the store I here you cry!? Well, obviously its full of Disney memorabilia but you will find stuff ...

...have always wanted to visit the Disney store, but there isn’t one near me and I never seemed to have the time when I go to Manchester. Well, anyway I found the time and I loved the shop.
It’s quite a big store and it had loads of Disney memorabilia. The items they stock are so varied, they had little children’s clothes with Disney cartoons on, fleeces, and scarves and hats.
They had some really good mugs with the bright Disney ... ...Donald Duck on might do the trick. Who can forget the Disney socks, I bough myself two pairs, I couldn’t resist and they were £1 off so I got them for £2.99. They had loads of key rings, from Pokemon style to key rings with all the Disney characters. I bought a key ring for £4.00 it’s really nice and has all the faces of the Disney characters on like Mickey Mouse.
They had some lovely diaries, which I bought for my friend, they had a ...

Advantages: Great for all ages and a wide range of products Disadvantages: Can be pricey
I have loved going into the Disney Stores since I was young and, as I am now mid-30's (not revealing my exact age here!), just proves that the magic of the Disney store is for the whole family. There is not a Disney store where I am, they are mainly around the larger cities - near me (I live in Scotland), I think the closest shops are in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Pre-children, I always loved going to the Disney store whenever I visited Glasgow or Edinburgh ... ...nice to take them to the stores too whenever we are away.
When you go into a Disney store, what first amazed me was that there was not just items on display to buy, but also a large screen which showed clips, songs and music from Disney shows.
The shop itself sells a wide range of Disney products, including dressing up outfts, clothes, toys pyjamas and other nick nacks - I even picked up Disney Princess Easter eggs for my nieces when I was there ...

Advantages: Good selection...Great special offers and a chance to go back to childhood Disadvantages: None that I have found
I use the Disney Store at Bluewater in Kent and have done since it opened in March 1998. I only usually purchase videos from there as I find a lot of the other products a bit pricey for my small budget though I am told that they are good value.
This said I must admit thet when they reduce something it is usually quite a substantial reduction.
If you want to buy a Disney video this is the place to go, they not only stock all of the videos that have ... ...that will be released in the near future.
By pre ordering a video that will be released shortly you can benefit from a whole host of special and free offers like limited edition posters and other merchandise that will be for sale at a higher price once the film is actually released.

The Disney Store
146 The Harlequin Centre
High Street
Watford

Like a lot of major shopping centres across the country, the Harlequin centre has a Disney store. These stores are aimed towards all ages. The store also stocks a large range of clothing from adults and kids nightwear, to casual tops and even fancy dress costumes, of your favourite Disney characters. The Disney Store is very popular in Britain and there is a store in about every city that i have visited (and that's a lot). So you not going to find it very hard to find one is you are in urgent need of some Disney Merchandise. Advantages: Disney Paradise Disadvantages: It's easy to get stuck!
I love the Disney Store. My nearest store is Cardiff, and it's quite large (I haven't been to any others so can't compare it). It has a huge screen at the back showing Disney movies and sing-a-longs. My son is only 10 weeks old at the moment but I know when he’s older I won’t be able to get him out of here! While I was pregnant I bought more here then ever before - everything is really good quality, and you know it is authentic Disney ... ...- it's a cream Winnie the Pooh one, very long and very thick. It cost £40, which is probably more than double what I’ve ever paid for a dressing gown, but I know this will last a long time, well worth the money. There are clothes for all ages; stuffed toys; musical toys; smaller, cheaper toys; mugs; teapots; ornaments; collectables; art work, the list goes on – in fact, you’ll find everything for the home in Disney! The Disney Store is situated nowadays in almost every major town and city shopping centre in the country.
Inside you will beable to purchase everything that is Disney. From cuddly toys (of which you will never find a bigger pile anywhere else),dressing up outfits to crayons, clocks, watches, and orniments. Also special edition pieces and limited edition pictures. They even sell the passes to allow you into Disney World Florida.

The staff are always very keen to help, and there is usually someone to greet you as you enter the store.
Anyway the Disney Store is a hit with me. I hope it is with you too! ...

Advantages: Fun for kids and adults Disadvantages: Can be expensive
The Disney Shop is great fun for kids and adults alike. The branch I visit most often is in the Gateshead Metro Centre. I love the way that customers are greeted at the door and little ones can toddle off and play in play area at the back of the store. I usually have difficulty in getting my grandsons to come away from here.

There is a range of clothing for kids and adults. You can buy t-shirts, jackets, shirts, caps and lots of other items in all sizes. They even have a baby range.
In general this store is very expensive. If you have a couple of children to buy for it's quite scarey. The most expensive items are always those linked to the latest film releases but there are bargains to be had, even in this store. I recently bought myself ...
