I've read and reviewed a Montanari novel previously so I was looking forward to giving this a go when I came across it in the library. Although a little confusing by the end, it was an enjoyable and intelligent read that I'd recommend for crime thriller fans. Big heading Richard Montanari delivers again. I am not one to follow an author for too long as I find that they can become somewhat predictable. Though in saying that I have become a fan of the Montanari library, his style and characters are unforgettable. With each new instalment he takes you to the world of homicide and teaches you something new. The Echo Man is all that I have come to expect from Richard Montanari, the unexpected.
