...murder of a husband and the kidnapping of a wife which is very gripping and kept me on the edge of my seat and i was quite shocked when the kidnapper ended up dead as you believe the story is all about him and his evil deeds. The story changes somewhat as the girl who was kidnapped finds herself rescued by a very strange man on an old school bus full of shop dummies. ...laymon (the cellar, island and the stake) has done a brilliant job up until the end which i thought was poor. The glory bus was brought out in 2005 and you can get it at most major bookshops for about £6.99. You could probably get in cheaper on the net. The book revolves around two main characters. ...does feel a little like the story lacks direction, and some random encounters (Didi being an example) which I felt didn't really add to the story. It is still a very fun read, and I won't spoil the story too much at all but it has all the gore that you come to expect from one of Laymon's books, particularly the diners "soylent" menu.
