Dire. Shipped a version only licensed for the US. E-mail after e-mail. When they finally replied it was as if they couldn't give a monkey's. Small saving outweighed by hassle and not receiving the product ordered, ie the European version - they wouldn't guarantee the US version would work. Care - they act as a distributor for Asda, Boots and others. I used Asda because I thought they could be trusted, big mistake. If you want a laugh, read the Customer Care page.

I ordered a 3 disc box set from the hut about 6 weeks ago, after a 2 week wait and an e-mail asking when my dvd's was going to arrive they finaly did, I opened the boxset to find out I had the same disc twice, I sent the dvd's back on the 8th of april for a refund, it is now the 22nd and I still havent recieved a refund for my order, customer service havent replied to my last 3 e-mails.

I've ordered from the Hut a few times now with no problems whatsoever. Communication is always good with emails sent to confirm order, despatch etc. Despatch estimates have been spot on & delivery is pretty quick too, most of my items have only taken a couple of days to arrive & are always packed well. Think the Hut are pretty cheap on most items, I usually shop via price comparison sites & they have come out top on most of the stuff I've searched for lately. I would recommend.

Advantages: Good value, good range, free UK postage, decent amount of info about each title
Disadvantages: need sunglasses when browsing the site

Okay so the site's not that bad - it's just a bit of a shock seeing the bright colours compared with other sites on the web! That said everything's laid out intuitively and functionality such as searching is easy to find and use. I can only comment on the two orders I've made with them so far - the checkout was easy to use and order status was accurate. I almost didn't use thehut.com because of the reviews I had seen, but they were SO MUCH cheaper than other sites that I thought I would have a go. Ordering was straightforward and the goods arrived three days later. Nothing to complain about - a good service.

Rubbish, sold me an item, said in stock and will be dispatched within 4 days... after 2 weeks rung them 3 times, each time they promise to ring back and never have bothered. Now they say its out of stock... Very dishonest marketing.... and terrible customer service.

Advantages: excellent service! free delivery!
Disadvantages: none i know of!

...from these days, and finding the best one is a task in itself. 'The Hut' is a great website with a very nice, bright, minimalistic interface. Unlike other sights you are not plagued by partner offers from other sights - and from first glance it seems like a genuine site - and it is. Advantages: cheap & free delivery on everything
Disadvantages: none that I experienced

...delivered 2 days later and the cd a day later. Delivery was free and took much less time than other sites I have used. Have today ordered a playstation game. Books are particluarly cheap as many sites quote a low price but then put £3 postage per item at the checkout stage. Prices stated are the prices charged. Chart CDs are particularly cheap - I bought Franz Ferdinand for £7.99 delivered. The site also has a lot of £5 discount CDs & DVDs. Overall ... Read review

...say they "cannot fulfill the order as the supplier doesn't have stock at that price, you should have for an email to say this on Tuesday " I tried to explain that not my problem, and that I didn't recieve an email but they did not care in the slightest. I had even called them yesterday (Wednesday) and they said I would be be sent out that night (obviously the email story is complete lie then).... I'm now without the game for my friends birthday ... There seems to be a lot more on it these days and th epricing also seems to be really cheap.
