Advantages: Gentle, charming reading Disadvantages: Not a lot actually happens
This is the fourth installment in the popular No 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series. I don't feel it is essential to have read the previous books as there are no real plot spoilers, any background knowledge you need into the characters is provided briefly and succinctly whenever necessary. We again meet our heroine Mma Precious Ramotswe the proprietor on the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, her assistant Mma Makutsi, and fiancé Mr J L B Matekoni of Tlokweng ...

Advantages: Entertaining, interesting, well-written Disadvantages: Not as much going on as I'd have liked
The Kalahari Typing School For Men is the fourth novel in the popular No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency series and the second I've read (after the first in the series). If you want a book that's light hearted then this is for you, I would ...

This is the fourth book in the No.1 Ladies Decetive Agency Series and doesn't disappoint. It carries on the story of Mma Ramotswe's life in the same beautifully descriptive style as the previous books.
There are, as usual, some great stories within to keep you entertaining and guessing. We also get a deeper insight into the background of Mma Makutsi and apprentices.
McCall Smith doesn't disappoint with this one, his descriptive writing style ...
