The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an epic action adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for it's Wii and Gamecube consoles. In this game, set hundreds of years after Ocarina Of Time, you control the hero Link, as he tries to prevent Hyrule from being engulfed by the Twilight Realm, a dark parallel dimension filled with monsters. He is helped by Midna, a mysterious creature from the Twilight Realm. A major difference between this and other Zelda games you have the ability to turn into a wolf. This gives you abilities that you wouldn't normally have as a human, such as a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Great Fun

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Addictive

I have always enjoyed a good RPG, and was introduced to the Legend of Zelda by my husband who is a true fan. I believe he now regrets introducing me to the series as I have spent many a happy hour playing Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, and now of course Princess of Twilight. This new addition to the series I can only describe as a true epic! ***** The Game ***** It has been two years in the making, and once again Nintendo have truly out done themselves. This game is slightly darker than the previous games in the series and the game itself is much larger. The adventure begins with you waking up ... more

Advantages Advantages Another Great Zelda Title

Disadvantages Disadvantages If Only It Was Real.....

I'm a huge fan of the zelda series and news of the next in the sequal made me pre-order this... When it arrived I could hardly wait. After continuousley playing ocarina of time I had high hopes of the long awaited twilight princess. The game starts off when your character, (of whom you can name yourself) wakes up in his house, after being awaken by the village children who want to play games. After performing various tasks (which also help you learn the controls), events unravel and a new adventure begins... The graphics are superb with textures and landscapes which will leave you thinking ... more

    Advantages Advantages Super Addictive

Disadvantages Disadvantages boss hardess is Inconsistent

This was rumoured to be one of the greatest games ever, and you know what? It is. The game opens with a small village, Ordon, this is Link's hometown. What I was most looking forward to riding Epona which came quite quickly, this was good, the control was smooth and the speed was perfect, fast but I could still control it. You are thrown into the twilight realm and become a wolf, like riding on Epona this is has smooth handeling when moving and is actually very realistic. You first have to just rooftops in an atmospheric Hyrule Castle to meet Princess Zelda. Before the first three dungeons you ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant graphics, Oocu, its authenticity

Disadvantages Disadvantages Does not quite beat The Ocarina of time

Having played both Gamecube and Wii versions of Twilight Princess I can safely say that you are not missing anything if you have not played the version on the Wii. The controls are fun don't get me wrong but lets face it, the layout of the controls in all of the original Zelda games (N64 and Gamecube) are fundamental to its authenticity. So personally I actually prefer the Gamecube version. Apart from the controls the only other difference is that the maps are reversed, which makes not the slightest difference because the official walkthrough guide (should you wish to use it) displays both ... more

Advantages Advantages Good length, looks beautiful, It's Zelda!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Easy end boss, fairly linear

This was a very highly enjoyable game. New enemies, new weapons and a better use of Epona (the horse). This game took me around 30 hours. which compared to most other games is very long. The slight problem with this is that it reduces it's replay value.... for me at least. It kind of feels too epic to want to go through it again.... as great as it was. I didn't really enjoy the whole wolf thing either. The dungeons were, mostly, nicley challenging (still not enough for my liking) but some of them didn't seem as much like dungeouns as just a long way around to get an item. I do love this game ... more

When an evil shadow stretches from the heart of Hyrule to its peaceful borderlands, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero ... and the animal ... within. When Link travels to the darkened land of Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious being named Midna. Ride into battle against troops of foul creatures, using an incredible horseback combat system, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed. Many puzzles stand between Link and the fulfillment of his quest, so players must sharpen their wits as they hunt for weapons and ... more
