Advantages Advantages Great insight into how birds live.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a field guide.

The photography is lavish, with stills from the television series, and other photos not seen on TV. The book is well laid out and written in Attenborough's clear, easy to read style. It covers a large subject area very well indeed. Those looking for a field guide on the birds in their area will be disappointed, but those looking for an insight into how birds live, will be rewarded by reading this ... more
