Well I am guilty of doing a few mad things in my time, but by far this has to be the maddest of all. Although it did turn out to be the best things I ever did and probably ever will do again. It all started with a two week holiday to Benidorm just after my eighteenth birthday. The first week went by and it was turning out to just be another bog standard foreign vacation. But then it was all to change during a night out when I had gone out by myself as my gran wasn't much of a late night owl. There I was all on my lonesome and a certain female prop working outside Beachcombers nightclub on the ... more

My Method to the Madness: Sometimes I have a blood rush to the head...a moment of madness you could say, I seem to get some rather unusal ideas and start to set myself certain goals for me to achieve. Even though it does come with a bit of madness it's also something alot of people wouldn't even think about trying, that's the good thing about me I don't just set normal goals and targets I always have to have a bit of fun and be creative and adventurious with em. I'm not just going to say "I'll jog here or I'll jog there" to me I want a bit of excited whilst trying to achieve it and reason is ... more

This is by no means the maddest thing I have ever done; I have done a few mad things in my life, (but I'm not even going there) I think this was one of my most embarrassing ones, maybe because I was still reasonable sober at the time and remember it well. I must just set the scene first. September 1970 My18th Birthday, and I had just found out a local band I love are going to be performing live at the pub I am going to. The lead singer was drop dead gorgeous. Mini skirts were still in (just about) and throw away knickers had arrived, they looked like J cloths and came in the same colours, pink ... more

    Advantages Advantages Just a read.

Disadvantages Disadvantages You may get bored.

I went to a wedding, and although the thought of going to a wedding will seem pretty normal to most people, this was different. It was a Breton wedding, and weddings of this nature last three days. Three days of eating, drinking, very little sleep, fun, laughter, yawning, foot ache, and little snippets of romance. So where is the mad moment. I shall get to that. Day one was a beautiful Summer's day, the church service was enchanting, and the ceremony at the local Mayors office sombre as they always are. Then there was the huge stand that the French hire for the wedding photographs, and ... more

It is hard to define this as the maddest thing that I have ever done. Partly because for some it might seem quite a logical progression and partly because it hasn't actually happened yet. My maddest moment is actually more of a continuing series of events ranging from the unlikely right up to the downright insane. In order to fully dissect the tangle in which I have found myself I must go back to October 1st 2005. Following a cold damp night camping in a small town called Guyla on the Hungarian/Romanian border, my travelling compadre and me set off on what we had wistfully guestimated to be a ... more

Advantages Advantages Once in a lifetime experience

Disadvantages Disadvantages One of my biggest fears!!

When I was about 14, I was part of a Scout group, funny cause I was a girl, but I eventually became a Patrol leader, the first one ever in our group, it was so exciting. That year we went on a 12 night camp in County Durham, up north, it was fantastic, lots of things to see and do, but one thing that stood out above all the rest, was something I would never see myself doing! I am not embarrassed to say this, but I am afraid of heights, I get scared when I try to get into my attic of my house! Funny you are probably thinking, but the chance came along for a few of us to go gauge walking, which ... more

Hello fellow Ciaoer's, yes its me again. Right the maddest thing i have ever done? Hmmm. Very hard but i am going to take you back to when i got kicked out of home. It was a Rainy day in the land of Hastings, East Sussex. I got kicked out of home for having an argument with my brother about 4/5 years ago. I was stuck for a place to stay, and decided to go to Eastbourne. I found myself at Eastbourne train station wondering where i was going to go. The first place i thought of was my dear little friend called Roz. He is a friend from school, and to this day he will always be there for me. Roz ... more
