Advantages: gripping, cant' put the book down Disadvantages: none
...of my favourite authors, and the Mask rates highly as one of my favourite Dean Koontz books.
The Mask is the story of a childless couple, and Jane, a young amnesiac girl. They are thrown together, and they get along great, but in the way of horror stories, strange things start happening....
Koontz manages to combine love, fear and all out terror. You are drawn to the characters; in the relatively short book, Koontz keeps the characters developing, ... ...have a habit of leaving the reader hanging; He ties all of the threads together quickly, before ending the story. I am the kind of reader who always wants to know, 'And then what happened?' But with this story, it works...for the characters, the horror is over, and so is the story.
All in all, this is a very good example of Dean Koontz's literary style, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in Dean Koontz, or thriller's in general. ...

Advantages: exhilirating, I love a good thrill story with anything mystique in it Disadvantages: ~*~
From among the wide range of books there are from Dean Koontz, this was my first read. It was the story of the reincarnating vengeance of a girl who believed her mother had deprived her of the life that she was suppose to have lived long ago. Kind of sounds like most of teenagers today, I know. But the story is rich; i was on a comfy couch for hours reading it and hardly notocing the boring afternoon to have passed.
In short, it was great! I like ...
