...shoplifted (I'm sure it isn't the latter - not been in a book shop for a while! But my pregnancy brain is starting to get to me!) I find some of the hints and tips in here to be good. ...experience: Firstly, I'd stress the point that this book isn't for everyone, but I would like to say that it saved my sanity. On having a baby I tried to take the relaxed approach, feeding on demand and basically letting my baby do whatever he seeemed to want. This book will divide the reader. You'll either love it or hate it. Personally I agreed with some of Gina's points but others which I definitely did not. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and have read all manner of baby books but this was by far the most interesting. As someone with mild OCD, the thought of having my newborn in a routine by 4 weeks sounds brilliant however I'm sure in reality it will prove hard!!! I disagreed with certain aspects ...
...only when its appropriate for the babies needs and not your own. But other ideas such as bathing and feeding the baby in their own room from birth was a very sound idea.
