The plot is fairly easy to follow. A painter, Basil Hallward, paints a portrait of young, handsome man, Dorian Grey. He then introduces Dorian to a nobleman, Lord Henry Wotton. Dorian and Henry Wotton become friends and Dorian wishes that the painting of himself would grow old instead of himself. ...I would recommend it for everyone, as it is not too difficult to read or very long. It gives the reader a perfect representation of 19th Century England, letting the reader's imagination run wild in places ranging from the elegant English countryside to the dark opium dens of East London. ...
