Brilliant Book 2
Review of The Reptile Room - Lemony Snicket by sophie5914

Advantages: Fantastic stories, brilliantly written
Disadvantages: None!

... I think mainly it is the author's fantastic, witty writing style, and also the fact that, though they might be pretty depressing, the stories are still fantastic! The three stars of the stories are the Baudelaire children. 14-year-old Violet is a brilliant inventor, 10-year-old Klaus is incredibly intelligent, and 2-year-old Sunny likes biting things (this is a lot more important that it sounds). ...back in full force with the fantastic, and even more depressing follow up to 'The Bad Beginning'. Book the Second is written with the same wit and style as Book The First, and is even more gripping! The start of the book sees the Baudelaire orphans taking a much needed break from being completely miserable, as they are taken to live with their mad Uncle Monty, who has a snake fetish. The children are told they are being taken to Peru, and are delighted ... Read review
