The author Gary Zukav captured my attention on Oprah a couple of times, which always amazed me since I had thought of Oprah as a fundamentalist Christian Obviously that was stereotyping.based on her black heritage. Zukav is definitely New Age and she loves his self-help brand of psychology. Advantages: Insightful and inspirational
Disadvantages: Nothing

...written and I particularly like the way Zukav doesn't delve into personal anecdotes and so unlike some other books in the same genre, it does not comes across as "arrogant" or "preachy". The book deals with evolution, reincarnation and karma. A premise of this book is that we have immortal souls. Zukav talks about "external power" versus "authentic power"- authentic power referring to our "soul". He says that we are evolving beyond our five senses ... Read review
