The sims 2 apartment life does an exelent Job of tying up loose ends for the sims 2, whilst still introducing fresh, exiting gameplay. Farmilliar objects from the sims 1 such as the mirror-cabinet with the "brush teeth" option makes an appearence along with a few other farmilliar bits and bobs. essence from the "makin' magic" expansion for the sims is thrown in with the presence of witches, good and bad in your neighbourhood. ...be me getting older, but the magic in the sims 2 just simply wasn't as fun as the "makin magic" expansion for sims 1. However, despite this, i wouldn't detract many points, To me, the game makes up for the lousy witch craft with something i have been waiting for in all my years of playings the sims. Ceilings. It may not sound like much, but the addition of ceilings really does make the game alot more enjoyable for me, it gives a more "homely" feel ...

I really enjoyed The Sims2 and I've enjoyed all the expansions so far too. Apartment life is another Sims2 expansion that didn't disappoint! The apartments are an interesting alternative to the usual lots, although I still prefer building sim-houses the old way! I found the new social actions made going on dates with sims a lot easier and the witches are an interesting new addition - once you find one, you can make your sim befriend her and eventually ...
...to the secret society from the University expansion. Once you become a witch, you can learn to make regents and cast spells I'm still looking for the evil ones though... The only problem I've found with this (and other expansion packs) is that the more expansions you add, the slower the game is to load. While this won't really affect people with a higher-spec PC, if you have a slightly older machine, it can get quite tedious waiting for the game ...
