Advantages: Hours of fun! So much to do! Disadvantages: Time passes quickly, animals and sims eventually die.
...this?!~~~
Trust me, this is the perfect present for a girl or boy aged 7-16 (I am almost 18, but perhaps I'm just one of the special few older ones). Girls do seem to like this game more as it slightly resembles being able to play 'house' or 'dolls' as you make your own families and houses and live out the lives of the sims. On the game it says that it is for over 12 year olds. My little brother who has just turned 8 plays this occasionally. There ... ...like young ones seeing is the implied sexual content. You don't see anything in detail but you can easily guess what they are doing hidden under the sheets when commanded to do so to get a baby or puppy (sims and pets).
~~~Info on Installing~~~
The Sims 2 Pets is an expansion pack to be added onto the original Sims 2 on the computer. You do need the original Sims 2 game to be able to install this expansion. This game does work best on rather fast ...
This is the fourth expansion pack in the Sims 2 series following on from University, Nightlife and Open for Business. Lately EA and Maxis, the manufacturers and distributors have also produced 'Stuff Packs' with added clothing, furniture and furnishing accessories. The Sims 2 game is required to play. There are no levels to complete, you set your own target for the Sim or just try and meet their needs and aspirations and keep them happy. Advantages: Good idea, lots of new added stuff Disadvantages: couldn't breed, wasn't fussed with pets
My latest addition to the Sims 2 game is the Pets expansion pack. I have a few expansion packs already, reviews will be written, and I am extremely pleased with them. I was excited about getting the Pets expansion but not overly fussed like the other expansions. It didn't seem a necessity.
Creating a pet is the same as creating a Sim. A pet doesn't necessarily have to be created with a family but to play them they do needed to be added into a household. Go the "Create A Family" button where you would normally create your Sims, and you will find ...
OVERVIEW
***********
The Sims 2 Pets is the 4th expansion pack for the game The Sims 2. This pack adds, believe it or not pets! It also adds new places to go, new objects and new clothes. CONCEPT
*********
The Sims 2 is a game where you take control of a virtual person (a sim) and guide them through their live. You have to buy them a house, find a job, get married and have children. You can control more or less every aspect of their lives. You ... ...fish are acquired by placing the appropriate cage or tank and then stoking it. These pets require minimal looking after so are a good option if you already have lots to do!
Cats and dogs are the main pets included in this game. To get a cat or dog you can either; phone the pet adoption service, go to a pet shop or create one when you create a family (mentioned later on). When you phone the pet adoption service you can choose either cat/dog, kitten/puppy ...
Advantages: Adorable cats and dogs, lots of interactions Disadvantages: Not many other pets
...my favourite expansion pack for the game. None of the other expansion packs have really appealed to me so far (though I have bought or played all of them at some point), but Pets is the only one that I feel really adds a lot to the game.
It's quite obvious from the title exactly what Pets brings to the world of the Sims - pets! Your Sims now have the chance to own dogs and cats. They can also own tropical fish, parrots and a strange creature called ... ...to the game as the canines and felines do. These two really become part of the family - although you cannot directly control them.
The dogs and cats are absolutely adorable. They are very well made and look realistic. There are also literally thousands of breed variations you can make. Though you have the option to choose from already created breeds (such as the labrador, rottweiler, etc) it's much more fun to create your own. Much like creating ...
...to love throughout a lifetime. The best part when creating a pet is that you can choose everything from their breed to their personality. Your sim can teach their pets tricks, take them to the park, buy them toys and more. The pets aren't like sims though, they have minds of their own - so expect the unexpected.
Oh I do get excited about the new objects that come with the expansion packs. One of the new objects is a scratching post (well I personally ... ...to almost every part of the body, which are Coat Shape (thick fur or smooth and sleek?), Fur Accessories (put a beard on the dog?), Full Pet (not so much work when I can change the body and face shape together), Body (a chubby dog or a thin one?) and many more. ...been anticipateing for some while the only reason EA (maxis) made this was purely based on the demands from the general public. But is it that good?
The game sells for an RRP of £19.99, bu i got my copy from play.com for 17.99. Amazon are also selling this, for 16.99.
If you pre ordered it from one of these sights you got a code for a special additon to the game for example; a purle pug, a star dalmation, a bandit cat.
Cats and dogs can't breed together, but large dogs can breed with small dogs. You can get really very creative when making your pet, it can have spots ...
Advantages: great new features Disadvantages: i prefer holiday pack more
The product I am reviewing is "the Sims 2 pet's expansion"
About a year ago I loved playing on the Sims 2 games.
I paid £14.99 for this game from play.com
Id purchased : The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Nightlife, The Sims 2 Open For Business, The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff Pack, The Sims 2 Seasons ,The Sims 2 Bon Voyage and of course last but not least the Sims 2 pets .
The thing that appealed to me the most about purchasing the expansion and ... ...my Sims could experiment.
Buying the expansion packs made playing on the Sims 2 so much more entertaining, when you buy a game and you play it religiously after so long you get bored of it but with the large choice of expansion and stuff packs available you always had something new to add onto your game which made it less boring and repetitive.
So what are the features that the Sims 2 pet's expansion pack has to offer Sims 2 users?
The Sims 2 was developed by the well known company Maxis and published by EA Games. It was released in September 2004. It is a single player life simulation game. It was released for Windows and Mac, Ps2, PSP, Nintendo Ds, GBA, Gamecube and Xbox. For the PC version you get 4 discs and a player manual with a unique CD key in the box. ...it looked amazing. Like all the others new things are added such as pets accessories, pet beds, pet bowls, pet toys and pet shops.
The pets don't need a lot of looking after. You need to make sure you train them, this is easy to do but can take some time, and make sure they're fed. You can even get them jobs but they don't have as many job levels as Sims so it's pretty easy to get them to the top. Wild pets can become quite annoying, digging up your garden and howling, but you can also make friends with any pet.
This game is fun but I don't really use it often. I don't know how to breed so the only other use for it is to just have a pet and send them to work. It's still a good game though. ...
